Beautiful

Scenery was great, a canopy of trees, very large spots for any size camper/rv/bus... water, electric, sewer, all available, fire pits, clean restrooms for showering. A fully stocked fishing pond, volleyball court, kids playground and sand box, lots of trees, walk to the lake, easy to access from…

Great place!

Great place but don’t show up and expect to camp. All camping is by prepaid reservations only by calling city hall 918 623 1050. This is the only way you can camp here per new policy and camping must be prepaid when reservations are made.

Not as nice as parks out West

Not as nice as other parks along our i40 route from CA to GA, but hospitality was great and appreciated the kindness of the folks who manage this property. Little sketchy of the red/brown lake water to swim in and the bugs are massive compared to the desert. Lol but we loved the lush forests,…

Nice secluded spot

We stayed at site 31. It was on the side with the bluffs. Beautiful sunset overlooking the lake. Trees separated us from the next campsites. It's very primitive so bring plenty of water.

Fun

We stayed the weekend and had a great time, there was plenty of things for the kids to do and enough space at our campsite that we didn’t feel crowded in.

Relaxing lake!

Peaceful and quiet lake. We stayed mid week and our sons had a blast kayaking. The only boat traffic were those fishing, and they didn't seem to mind our sons rowing. Park has lots of places for walking. We stayed in a primitive site near the water. Showers are horribly cold, but available. …

Nice place

I enjoyed my stay.  I was able to get in even though I didn't make a reservation.  I might add that most gov run camps now require online booking and payment.  Some of the sites are small and would be hard to get a larger RV into so you might want to call the keepers and ask about that.  Nice…

Good Port in a Storm

During the extreme winter weather in Oklahoma in February 2021, I ducked into the KOA Lake Eufaula to wait out the storm. While the office was closed, Lindsay was available by phone to answer all my questions and James, a resident caretaker was also on hand.  The campground offers all expected…

Nice RV Park

Enjoyed the quiet side of the park closest to railroad tracks. Yes, we did have trains at all hours, but living in a community with a similar issue, we had no problem sleeping through it. Bathhouse was clean, but not great. Biggest problem was flies from dumpster and sewage dump. Could not smell…

Great little spot for the hunters.

I live a short drive away in Tulsa, but when hunting season started, this is where I stayed on the weekends. Lots of WMA land to be explored, the park is nice and quiet with beautiful surroundings and a smaller, peaceful lake to enjoy.

Unhelpful, must have a reservation

Be aware, you will not be allowed into the park without a prior reservation. My husband and I came late into the area and needed a place to sleep. The website did not say that reservations were REQUIRED, just that they were available. The attendant would not let me make a quick reservation on my…

Decent for the area

Ranger was very serious about his job but super nice and you can tell he really cares for the space. Bathrooms were a little beat up but shower was hot and with good water pressure. No problems accessing in 32’ motorhome towing a car. Market at end of road with nice little town nearby if you need…

Nice Lake, but the Lake Ranger needs to ease up a bit!!

The lake was beautiful. The Lake Ranger not so much. From the beginning it seemed like he wanted us to know that he was in charge. He was quick to go over the rules with us.  Made sure to tell us to collect our dogs excrements, but we did not need to collect her urine.  🤦‍♀️ If you have kayaks and…

Perfect little find!

Okemah City Lake Campground was a nice find for our road trip back home. Price was great we ended up staying an extra day. Only complaint was there was a lot of exposed barb wire and rebarb randomly but would stay here again if in the area. (Home for us is WNC) camp host was super nice. We stayed…

Small and quite

It is a nice little campground that has R.V. camping and tent camping. We like camping here because the campsite is next to the shore. There are some nice camping spots under shade trees. When you want to cool off you can just walk from your campsite to the water and get in and cool off. However…
