ScoutIt's a nice campground, convenient to the Interstate, but the sites are very close together, so you'd better be on good terms with your neighbor. Having cable and a cafe that delivers to your site is a real plus, but the wifi if iffy.
TravelerNice place to stay for the weekend. Inexpensive. No water hookups at the individual sites but potable water is available in the park. The downsides are the sights can get muddy if there is rain. Only portapotties nearby.
We had big storms roll through when we were there. Unfortunately a large branch broke off of a nearby tree and hit the engine hood of our RV and dented it in several places. It could have been much worse though and not the park’s fault. Could happen anywhere there are trees.
ScoutThe person that took my reservation (Carrie) was very nice. As we were a late arrival at night, we were reserved for site #122 and found someone already in our site. The office was closed and the night/emergency number had a full mailbox. A nice couple helped us figure out a new site for the night, but with two small children in tow, it made for a difficult evening. Lastely, I never received my reservation confirmation. I did however received one for Gwen who is scheduled to stay starting on 7/30/26. I do not know who she is but I hope she receives her confirmation. I personally would not return to this campground.
