Organized demonstrations in leatherworking, candle making, and blacksmithing add a hands-on element that tends to keep kids occupied. The campground accommodates RVs up to 80 feet with electric and water hookups, and a dump station is on site.
The Mohican region has a cluster of campgrounds along the river corridor. Mohican Reservation Campground & Canoeing sits about 1.4 miles northeast, and Landoll's Mohican Castle is roughly 2.2 miles to the northwest, giving paddlers and road-trippers multiple staging options. Reservations are available and worth making well in advance for riverfront sites, particularly on summer and early fall weekends.
