Weird

Between the permanent residents being annoyed with the overnighters and the Jerry Springer style break up that happened. This place was weird. I do not recommend.

Horrible but cheap

This place is terrible, no kitchen, market with stable operating hours, all restrooms locations need updated its not 1970's anymore, guard shack nasty with cats hanging around, showers dirty, poo left in toilets, food trucks expensive, staff not professional, front row trailers looks like sanford…

Nice park

Camping was excellent in this park. For a state park the camping was great. Spots were spaced nicely and you have room to stretch out without being in your neighbors sewer pipe. We stayed at B16 and it had no problems with the 37’ RV and tow vehicle. Staff was super friendly and the camp store…

Tiny and close

This campground wasn’t level and the spots are so tiny I should have stayed at the KOA across the street for larger spots. That’s how small these are here. Our spot is on an incline. Full hookups are nice but dog poop galore. The pet owners here (not all of them) just let there dogs go anywhere…

Not bad, just disappointed

Visited twice in May 2021 (sites 54 & 39) bookending our camping roundtrip from Virginia to Kansas and this was one of the worst places we stayed. We lived in Dayton for a number of years and Yellow Springs is one of our favorite places. That being said, we were quite disappointed at the set…

Clean and organized well

Plenty of site space, staff is very friendly and welcoming. No problem parking 40’ fifth wheel. Atmosphere is friendly and other campers wave when you see them.

Lack of privacy

The campground was very crowded on a Saturday night in August. The non electric sites are in a pleasant grassy area, however, if you value privacy, take note that there is none. The facilities were clean. I did not get the opportunity to explore the rest of the park.

Fantastic spot

This was (and still is) our last stop on a 7,000 mile road trip and is our favorite park we stayed at in the country. The staff is fantastic, helpful, friendly and always working on making the park better. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Laundry is free. Internet works well and…

Impressive!

Super clean KOA with level gravel sites (no weeds popping up through gravel!) 2 Fenced dog areas, nice playground, game room, giant chess set outside, clean pool.. you name it, this KOA has it! I was impressed when Mike helped me back into my site.. it had a little wooden deck with a picnic table…

Awesome campsites

Most of the sites are private and roomy! Tons to do at the park too. Only negative- only 2 dump sites for >230 campsites.

Good Campground

Most sites seem good (from a tent-car camper perspective) / music on Friday nights/ pancake breakfast on Saturday / kayak launch sites / ice cream$2 at the store.  The camp has its own beach, but floats / kayaks are not allowed.

I live near Columbus so I may not camp again, but just go to the…

Infested Bathrooms

This campsite would have been perfect if not for the bathrooms littered with bugs, insects, and spiders. Otherwise, the campsite was quiet, the tent sites were nicely spaced out, and the bathrooms were easily accessible.

Where’s the crowd?

Delaware State Park is a gem in the Ohio state park system. What is amazing to us is how few people seem to know it exists! this state park is only 15 to 20 minutes away from Alum Creek State Park and yet there are virtually no crowds at all. The park is very large and the campground is adjacent…
