Great facilities. First time at an Arkansas state park and impressed.
Village Creek has nearly 7,000 acres of forest hills, 33 miles of multi-use trails, playground for children, 2 lakes, Andy Dye designed 27 hole golf course, & visitor center & gift shop. The park has cabins as well as rv sites.
There are three main campgrounds: Loop A (no sewer hookups…

This was such a nice relaxing place to stay. We met a park interpreter who was very nice and informative. We stayed in a small tent camping area beside one of the lakes. The hiking trail was beautiful and we saw several woodpeckers!
It was a pleasure camping in our RV at Village Creek. We were initially given a spot in loop A, but moved to loop B to be closer to the playground and lake. Loop A was about 2.5 miles away - park is huge! The bathrooms in A looked brand new and really nice. In B, they were more average, but I still…

This huge park and campground area were easy to find. Check in was a breeze and we headed to back-in site 56 with FHUs. Backing in was easy in this premium campsite with stand up bbq, separate fire pit and patio. The sewer is at the back of most of these long pads so you need about 20’ of sewer…

Long haul ride on my motorcycle, the staff was great, scenery perfect, and fishing phenomenal. I intended to stay one day ended up staying for four
with good fishing and babbling Brooke running next to the campsites which were flat clean and far enough away from your neighbor to make it feel like you had privacy
This Arkansas state park is top notch. It offers a very quiet, immaculate campground with only 17 sites for RV hook ups. There are additional camping areas for tents, although one is closed for repairs. The Bear Creek lake surrounds the RV camping area on all three sides. There is fishing, small…

One if the best spots to camp on the lake. Nice swimming areas. Marina and park.
Great spot for the heat of summer. Shady and a nice cool breeze off the cold little red!
General: This large state park has three camping loops, including one equestrian loop, for a total of 96 sites. All sites are reservable up to a year in advance (we usually try to camp during the off or shoulder season, but it was still necessary to make reservations as the loop filled up by…

The campground is nice and well maintained and sites are fairly well spaced with lots of grass, trees and open areas. The park staff were very friendly and helpful. We were in site 4 for 3 days. All of the sites looked quite level. There are quite a few depressions around the campground that filled…

This is a great campground. The campsites are all good size, so you don’t feel like you are on top each other. There is also plenty of shade. We stay in D loop. And my husband and his family had been going there since he was young. So we decided to carry on the tradition.
Very nice wooded campground and good space between campsites. We took one of the hiking trails to a lake within the park. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider returning.
We loved this park! Our site was on the river, and the park is very clean and well maintained. There is ample spacing, and spacious patio areas with firepits. We had water and 30A electric (50A is available), the dump station is located at the park entrance. There was a group of tent camper’s…
