Point Return City Park

Point Return Public Use Area offers basic amenities focused on a natural camping experience. The park provides shaded campsites with picnic tables, trash hooks, and fire pits. Sites are situated along the banks of the lake, offering beautiful water views. Facilities include an outhouse-style toilet, though these are limited in number. The area features a beach within walking distance, making it great for swimming and water activities. Note that this is a tent and pop-up camper only location with quiet surroundings and plenty of trees for shade.

Bull Shoals Lakeview Campground is accessible by road, but visitors should be aware that one access road may flood during high water conditions. For specific directions, it's recommended to use GPS navigation or contact the campground directly for the most current access information. The campground is located on the shores of Bull Shoals Lake, providing scenic water views upon arrival.

Reservations do not appear to be required for camping at Bull Shoals. The park has been noted to have low occupancy at times, with visitors even having the entire park to themselves on weekend nights. However, it's always advisable to check with the managing authority before your trip as policies may change. This first-come, first-served approach makes it an excellent option for spontaneous camping trips.
