Great amenities & nice sites

We had an overnight here after visiting the hot springs national park. The euro delights food truck was a tasty treat. Loved that the pool was open until 10pm just wish the store was open past 5. Great sites. Full hook ups. Paved roads perfect for scootering.

Amenities Galore in the beautiful Ouachita River Valley

We stayed in a lovely cottage at Catherine’s Landing Resort on Lake Catherine. As we approached the resort, we were greeted by towers of green. The hills of the Ouachita River Valley envelop the immaculate property. The property offers large pull-through RV sites, tent sites, yurts, and cottages. The resort is right on Lake Catherine and very close to the 800-acre Lake Hamilton. Amenities include a pool, splash pad, zip lining, a ropes course, disk golf course, boat ramp and slips, catch and release pond, golf cart rentals, workout room, free popcorn, and yard games for check out in the gift shop. Amazing staff, grounds and proximity to sites

We had a great time at Catherine’s Landing where we rented a boat for half a day, went to the gardens near by and also the science museum. Easy to get to and plenty of room for the kids to play behind our water site. We will be back!

Excellent Family Adventure!

Our 1st family camping adventure did not disappoint at Catherine’s Landing! Plenty of room for the kids to ride bicycles and a direct, private access at the campground to Lake Catherine for a little family kayaking. A pleasant surprise for the kids was the ability to sign up for the ziplining course that is also located on the Catherine’s Landing property. We stayed a full week and could have stayed more. Would definitely recommend!

Nice spot to enjoy Hot Springs

We loved it here. We booked late so didn’t have the best spot but still loved the park. We had a pull through and pads were large and level. The internet wasn’t the strongest but did like the cable. So much fun zip lining and saw wild life. Deer right at our campsite. The pool looked very nice but too cold to visit. Daily trash pickup and very clean restrooms.

Clean, Level, and Convenient

We enjoyed our time at Catherine’s Landing. It’s obvious to me that they are reinvesting in their campground. Our site was level and clean with conveniently placed hook-ups. Everyone was super friendly and the lake is great! We didn’t have an opportunity to rent kayaks and enjoy time on the water, but it’s a wonderful amenity. There is also a gorgeous community building with a pool and a party building. I would stay again!

Great Experience

We arrived with no issue for the Van Leigh RV rally. A lady outside and let us know to just grab our package package from the little shed and proceed to our site. We followed the map in our package and went to waterfront site 106 with FHUs and really good water pressure. The back-in was easy. This site had a nice view and water access to Catherine Lake. Our $95 a night rate reflected the two extra nights we stayed in addition to the rally package. Their WiFi was above average for a CG of this size but often with spotty connections. We also hooked up to the cable and got the 32 advertised channels. We got 1 bar on both AT&T and Verizon. There are several laundries on the property that are reasonably priced. This campground has a lot of amenities to include disc golf, zipline and kayak rentals. There are also hiking trails within this campground(CG) that we enjoyed walking our pups. There are two small fenced dogs parks, one in the upper area and other other in the lower area. The sites are nicely spaced for a private CG but still nearby. Probably the best water front sites are 101, 102, and 103. The 200 area water front sites are nice but sit farther back from the water. If you are looking for the most spacious and private sites suggest 270, 271, and especially 275. This is one of the best private campgrounds we’ve stayed in.

Beautiful RV Park close to Hot Springs

Well kept park on Lake Catherine right outside of Hot Springs. It has a quiet remote feel with easy access to sightseeing in Hot Springs. I spent a day walking around Hot Springs, 3 days hiking trails in Lake Catherine State Park and a day at Garvan Gardens, all a short drive away. The park is immaculate and the grounds crew is really amazing, cleaning every site thoroughly before the next camper arrives. Trash pickup at your site every morning. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and at $1.50 per load the laundromat was one of the least expensive I’ve seen (and the dryers were great!) Wifi was good during the week and we were able to stream movies, except on the busy weekend evening when it bogged down. We had 2 bars cell service with T-Mobile. Check in was easy as was backing into our lake front spot. Would definitely stay here again!

Kid friendly. Great upkeep and sites that are easily accessible. Playground, splash pad, and pool. We were not able to access the pool because of the time of year, but we will definitely be back in warmer weather. Staff super friendly. Not one complaint.

Relax in the clean air

My husband and I camped 3 nights with the dogs an a travel trailer. The check in process was very easy and the facilities were immaculate. Concrete pads and sites were well kept. The yurts on property looked very big and clean so maybe we will do that next. The boat ramp and docks were safe for fishing. The dog park was small but sufficient for them to run a bit off the leash. Firewood was a bit pricey$$. Overall tho, super place.

Summer Camp for the Whole Family

Gorgeous setting on pristine Lake Catherine close to historic Hot Springs. I was in lakefront site 123 for one night but would have liked to stay longer. The water front sites near the boat dock were my favorite and easy to back into. All sites appear to be spacious with grass and fire pits. The canoe, kayak and boat rentals are in good condition, the paved sites and roads are very smooth and level, the office/lodge and facilities are definitely above average here and quite modern. While the setting is gorgeous on its own, this park has spared no expense on their facilities. The pool and adjacent waterfall are 5 star resort level. The climbing and ropes course is enormous and will make any kid’s jaw drop in disbelief. There’s an affiliated zip line just outside of the park. The hiking paths are lovely and wooded, and the tent campsites are on their own in a grassy meadow away from the RVs. The Yurts looked very nice from the outside. The shower rooms are large and stone tiled, however it looks like the ceiling needs some drywall attention or is amidst a construction project during my stay.

Family friendly, but very little shade

This place is really nice! Modern amenities such as full hook ups with nice level parking pads. There is so much to do here to keep almost anyone entertained, especially kids! There’s a swimming pool, zip line and boat rentals. They also have a hiking trail and bike rentals. Monthly and seasonal spots are also available. The drawback for me is that there is very little shade to hide under. If you want trees, be sure to get a waterfront site! I am sharing some pictures of the campground as viewed from the river to see the backside of the water sites as those are the ones I like!

Fantastic!

We spent Christmas here and our site backed right up to the water. The weather was unusually warm for December and we loved it! The pool was closed but looked extremely nice. Almost resort like. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The entire campground was maintained very well. The bathrooms were nice and very clean. We will stay here again for sure.

Great for that little extra adventure!

We first stayed at Catherine's Landing during COVID-19 after other parks cancelled our reservations. Some of the amenities were shut down for safety which was more than ok with us.

The next few times where after different opening phases. So we were able to go to the pool for instance and enjoy that space after we had loaded up the boat.

The sites are level and clear. Power, sewer and water make longer stays easy and packing up to go easy as well. They are a little close together but we did not mind as much. There is not much shade in alot of the sites. Trees are there but very young and it will be a few more years before they provide much value in that sense.

Location of sites vary, we enjoyed the sites closer to the river with the green belt behind us. But others worked just fine for us as well.

Store onsite has lot of little things you may need and location is close to a few restaurants for when you do not feel like cooking.

Bathrooms/showers were always clean with warm water.

We really enjoyed staying here and will stay here again in the future.

Very Nice, Lots of Amenities

Catherine’s Landing is a great RV park with lots of amenities and things happening. This park is an RVC Outdoor Destination property which is known for their “resort” amenities. The park is set on 400 acres with one mile bordering Lake Catherine and about eight or nine miles from downtown Hot Springs.

All roads, sites and patios are paved and this is definitely a big rig-friendly park. Every site has water, 50/30 amp, sewer, cable, and wifi. Fire pits and picnic tables accompany all sites. There are a variety of sites ranging from waterfront back-in, pull-thrus, or interior back-in. Waterfront sites have a nice view of the lake from the back of the site and access for fishing. The park also has yurts and cottages (some of which are pet-friendly). Adjacent to the yurts is a nice, large covered picnic area with grills, a dish washing station.

Lots and lots of amenities here. Hiking trails, swimming pool, fitness center, lounge, playground, dog park, zip-line, boat rental, boat launch, store, and disc golf. Some amenities (boat rentals and zip-line) are an extra charge.

Hot Springs is a nice little town nestled in the Ouachita Mountains with interesting history and natural beauty. We found plenty to do from hiking the National Park to learning about the bathhouse history to discovering the gangster influence. We spent four nights and could have stayed longer with all that the town offers. Most people come here to bathe in the soothing warm mineral waters but there is also a horse racetrack, science museum, off road track, water/theme park, alligator farm, and a few museums. Hot Springs National Park has miles and miles of great hiking trails and a great place to spend an afternoon. The town of Hot Springs is very dog-friendly and we found many places that would allow them in and on the patio for lunch.

Pros:

  • Very nice, clean, well-manicured
  • Lots of amenities
  •  Paved level sites with paved patios
  • The dog park was a decent size for running and mingling with other dogs
  • The hiking trail(about 3 miles) was a big plus and got used a lot.

Cons:

  • Price. We booked late and didn’t have too many sites to choose from we had to pay for a waterfront site

Very Nice Campground

Located on Lake Catherine in Hot Springs, AR. This privately owned campground has it all: level paved camping pads, 30/50 amp electrical hookups, sewer, cable, picnic tables, fire rings and grilling stations. Several sites are located right on the waterfront of Lake Catherine. They have some of the nicest showers/bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a park! Lake access, water toy rentals, swimming pool, and a zip line! Easy access to downtown Hot Springs. Not many mature trees and campsites are close, but large size to accommodate any sized rigs. We enjoyed our stay there.

Better RV

We did have a great time with the camp grounds! The lake was beautiful and very natural. However if you like roughing it and being close to the water, you better have an RV of some sort or you'll miss the good spots. The tent areas were in a disk golf field. No really ideal for your dogs if you are in a tent. they really like RV owners better. But the all in all very nice, swimming pool, hot showers, and electric. Let's not forget the zipline that's also there but extra. Loads of natural trails! Have fun in ARKANSAS

Clean Resort Campground

This was a great campground with many amenities. The facilities were clean and there were a lot of things to do right on the campground. There were no mature trees in the campground at this point, but there were many that were newly planted. The pool with splash park was well used by our kids. There is also a nice zip line course on the campground. They also offer pontoon boat rentals. Overall I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone and will probably visit again.
