Kayakers dream

Amazing campground, free camp made by army core of engineers as part of the new deal when several valleys were flooded to creat over 200 islands and 40,000 acres of water ways. Campsite features primitive sites, fire pit and grill and picnic table . About 9 spots , half of those can take a small…

Free camping next to the water

I've used this campground multiple times and while there is no water or electricity it offers an excellent view of the lake and a few camping spots right along the shoreline. There are roughly 10 spots to camp, about six on the water and a few just off the water but they do fill fast due to the…

Great escape from technology

We found this campground and have been coming back as often as we can. There is no cell service in the campground but if you go up to the dam, we had anywhere from 3 to 5 bars of service. The campground is older but we loved it. The Nimrod Dam is worth a trip since you can walk on it and give it a…

Beware of this park! Stay away!

This is the worst park ever. It has brown water, and nasty bathrooms. Beware drug addicts in the park! Poor management! Stay far away from this park!

Well not what I was looking for

It's a nice site with bathrooms. I was wanting very primitive, and away from ppl. Gravel toad in good condition to sight. Great boat access. If you have an rv or trailer great. I am more into staying in the woods away from all ppl. No play grounds, but not as primitive as I would like.

Spring Break at Degray Lake State Park

Had a great stay!  the camping area we were in (De Roche Ridge) was fully redone a few years ago.  Great views as all sites were on the water.  We had our bikes and it was a short ride to the main part of the park.

Nice, But Noisy

Ouachita Lake is gorgeous! Brady Mountain Campground was a bit too cramped for us. And unfortunately, we got one of the campsites right next to the water treatment system for the park. The cyclical noise was obnoxious, and there was no mention of this on the reservation or COE websites. …

Our first resort park 😍

From our stay in Mar 15 2021. Lots of activities here, we stayed at the De Roche Ridge campsite area, love the view of the lake no matter which site you stay and enjoyed beautiful sunsets from ours. Full hookups, level pads, clean and well maintained picnic benches, fire pits and grills.

We enjoyed our 2 nights here on the lake. The campground is literally on a mountain in the lake. Tent sites right on the lake and so are some RV spots. Warning. Stay away from Loop C around sites 35-37. They are literally right on top of each other. We luckily had a friend who was staying over on…
