Just off the interstate. That’s all the good we can say. Was told we didn’t need reservations, just come on by. Even called ahead that day to confirm. When we got there I was thinking no way no how were we going to stay here. Bad vibe, very uncomfortable feel. Felt very unsafe. No one came out to…
It’s a great place. Quiet and beautiful right on Lake Ouachita. Very remote so make sure you have everything you need before you get out there because there aren’t any stores even convenience stores or gas stations nearby. Beautiful location and even better if you have a boat then you can explore…

Wonderful clean campground
I give it 3 stars because it wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad. It was a good campsite. Beach was pretty basic and there wasn’t much around or available in terms of parks etc but we enjoyed our time.

Quiet place. Clean, more primitive and not developed. Does have flush toilets. Great place to go tent camping.

Nice campsites, lakeside, lake view and in the woods, YURT rentals have the best location, DeRoche Ridge second best if you want to be right next to the lake. They also have a lodge if camping isn’t your thing or if you don’t have equipment. YURTs look very nice and have lots of amenities. There’s…

Got the popup all setup, then discovered there was a large wasp nest in the electric hookup box. Had to break down and move to another spot in the dark. Not a great night. Bath house was little shop of horrors, pic attached.
Loved almost everything about de roche ridge! We stayed in 102 and 106 and had pretty views of the clear lake. Were able to park boat next to campsite and get kayaks and floats in and out of water easily. Boat ramp super close by. Fishing ok but hot so they were probably deep. Super nice workers at…

Great location, noisy from all the traffic on the road lots of commercial vehicle use on a 2-lane road. Don’t notice inside an RV if you’re running your a/c but hard to ignore if you’re outdoors or in a tent. Some sites are tight and you’re wedged in to small spaces, some larger and more spread…

The actual campground itself is really gorgeous with a few campsites that distantly overlook the lake however there is glass and trash all over from disrespectful campers who do not care to clean up after themselves however there are also no trash cans here so it's unsurprising.
Stayed on a…
Both camping or renting a cabin are great choices at this fun lake. The amenities are great, the cabins are very nice, and the lake has places to swim or rent boats.
Many off-path sites marked only by fire rings and small forest clearings. Be prepared to park and walk long distances and bring everything with you. The closest town is a 20 minute drive. Generally very clean and mostly appears undisturbed whether from little use or attention to preserving a…

Beautiful brook side campgrounds right on the Hot Springs national park. Camp sights are first come first serve at noon (find an empty sight, claim/park, and pay at the front) and all drive up standard sights. Good for tenting, hammocks, or RV. All sights have power/water/septic, fire pit, and…

This is a beautiful area, and a great campground. Very Clean and very nice bathrooms. We had campsite 51 on D loop. Its on a hill so be careful but great access to the lake. The area was very crowded but still felt like we were out in no were. I would go back again but at less busy time.
Our campsite was very large, on a peninsula shared with one other site. It was very close to the playground and restrooms. There was a large septic system that was incredibly loud. It would kick on and off every few minutes, constantly.
