Rocky River Resort

We spend the whole summer here and couldn’t ask for a more friendly place! It’s perfect, from being right on the water to allowing pets! They provide everything needed to float but your cooler and food! They will carry you up river and your float ends at the campground! Been coming here 30 years…

Nice place, well off the beaten path.

Way back off of a gravel road... There's at least two pull-offs that I've seen, I'm sure there's more. Disperse camping no facilities but it's nice back here... Fire pit... Not much company & free

Comfortable park

Right outside of historic Hardy AR, this is a quiet campground with large grass sites, power and water and on site dump station. Hardy is a cool downtown area, but everything closes down here by 6pm. We had a beautiful site on the river!

Quiet

For a state park it was pretty quiet. We're Seniors and I think we were the loudest..lol. Has shower and bathrooms, pavilions available to rent and a few cabins. Its small for rv park..we liked Lot 9 is the best..most secluded except for the trail paths.

Country Life

I must make a comment regarding two other reviews. A lake is generally deeper than a pond. You weigh the depth and surface to judge if a body of water is one or the other. In Arkansas you will find a pond on a ranch or a farm. Now in some areas of the United States there are lakes that cover masses…

Nice quiet campground

There’s a nice river next to the campground for swimming and boating. The whole place is a nice quiet setting. The sites themselves are not on top of each other. I’ve had good Verizon signal here.

Currently has 8 electric only sites, and 12 tent sites. All are first come, first serve. There are…

Really Nice

A really nice smaller privately owned campground that still has all of the perks. Pool, clean bath house, ice, fire wood, etc. Bordered by a spring branch and just a mile from Clearwater lake access. Has several cabins and one RV for rent. Tall pines and cottonwood trees throughout. Owners are…

Not a bad site here

Ok forget the ever running trains not to far from back of campground or the 3 mile drive on a dirt and gravel road, this is a beautiful park. The river that runs through it has great fishing. (Just down from fish hatchery) Just wish they had sewer sites available. Staff was great and very friendly.…

Super nice small campground

Very nice campground with 30something sites. Mostly 30 amp with a few 50 scattered about. Sites were not the fartherest apart, but each was very spacious. Large level gravel sites with water, but no sewer. Free, but spotty wifi throughout the campground. Shower house was new with 4 separate rooms.…

Nice park near Jonesboro

I didn’t get to spend much time here but I tent camped for 1 night in November. Beautiful park with lots of trees. Clean bathrooms. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to do anything but the park looks great.

Beautiful Area!

Beautiful secluded area. Small (only 3 or 4 sites). River access and super close to stream/cave/waterfall area. Water from the cave is so fresh and clear! Truly a beautiful area!

Great place for a day trip

This is a great fishing hole with a small campground! The sites are nice and have great views of the lake. For those of you with RV’s beware that there is no sewer dump station here. You have to drive to Crowleys Ridge State Park to use their dump station. (10 minute drive).

The drawback for me is…

Unexpected Surprise!

I’m not sure why this was our first visit here, but it definitely won’t be our last! We love winter camping as we enjoy the parks when they are more quiet. I bet this place is very popular in the summer.

The campground has great tent spots and a variety of paved spots. Some are really small, so…

Nice Primitive Spots

This was a nice park to camp in. We stayed in the primitive area which is first come first served. We were the only people there on a busy weekend so we had our pick of sites. Nice park all around.

Backwoods River camping

This is a float camp along Eleven Points river. This one is accessible by 2 miles of gravel road. Several dedicated camp sites that each have fire ring, shepherds hook, picnic table. There is one pit toilet building. There is a beautiful blue spring coming out of the bottom of a pool formerly used…
