Nice!

Very nice state park for its size. Ice storm has had its way here but they are cleaning up nicely. Bath houses stayed super clean all weekend. Park hosts were very nice. Walking trails were very clean around lake with TentRR glamping being added. 4 lake front premium spots. We were kicking enough…

awesome park

Really nice like a resort. Tennis courts, swimming pool (closed for winter), horse shoe pit, laundry mat, disc golf, and awesome clean bathrooms. Very nice sites and BEAUTIFUL cabins. Great piers on a very nice lake with big, beautiful cypress trees. Just a beautiful, hilly campground on a gorgeous…

A rare find!

Small park, lots of trees and walking/mtn bike trails. Beautiful lake, ducks, fishing piers, swimming beach, playground. Campground is right on the lake. No bad Rv spots! Spots have concrete pads. Full hookup. They take reservations, but not for a particular spot. A really wonderful place…

Beautiful lake

Pick your site from what’s open. Sites backing to water are amazing. Have gated patio overlooking the water. All concrete pads with full hook ups. Easy check in! Nice trails.

Ok for last minute

It was a last minute booking, for a holiday weekend, after a major hurricane. Campground was nice, nice & clean bathhouses, nice pool[closed due to pandemic]. Cabins looked nice, too. Just have to be careful what sight you book, because I almost never got my camper level in sight #21. All in…

I took my 3&5 year old boys

We loved Lincoln park. Great tent areas with a CLEAN bath house pretty close. Real shaded areas. Very clean and kid friendly. It’s gated and locked at night which is nice. Next time we are bringing our bikes for the paved walking trail. Really enjoyed this site.

Nice campground in pretty wooded area nice n small lake

Lots of hiking/mountain biking trails and a paved trail that goes around the lake. Playground for children and a swimming beach. Seasonal concession stand. Biking helmets required if you do ride. The mountain biking trails are very challenging and lots of races are held here. Trail runs and…

Such a lovely place

Lake Darbonne is our first experience with camping. I really didn’t know what to expect but we really loved it : the staff is really helpful, the campsite is really cosy (and not crowded during week days), the view on the lake is beautiful, etc.

We already planned to go back there on our way home…

Beautiful, spacious, full hookups!

This is always one of our favorite places to camp. Close to town if you need something, but truly has everything you’ll need for entertaining your whole family. Our favorites are the walking/biking paths, fishing, feeding ducks, big playgrounds, and well-planned, level sites. You aren’t assigned a…

Fantastic facilities

I camped on two occasions while in north LA on business. Bath houses are new, clean and climate controlled. Plenty of sites to choose from when I stayed though all of the waterfront sites were taken. Family friendly, not rowdy. I’d take young kids without hesitation if mine weren’t grown.

Bath house, water, electric, lake, pavement bike/walking path, playground, nationally recognized mountain bike course, group pavilions, primitive camping, beautiful rv spots, great place! Secluded primitive camping

Great primitive camping right by the lake. A few good spots to park boats/boards on the bank steps away from the campsite. Restroom with no sink or showers. Running water on site. Boat ramp is large concrete. Free to camp. Great spot to pitch a tent and get away from it all
