    Gulpha Gorge Campground — Hot Springs National Park

    One night stay

    Great camp grounds. Granted it was $34 no matter what you were using. All 44 spots have water/electric/sewage. 2 bathrooms. 1 Bathroom is centralized and the other is next to lot 44. Bathrooms are private one person at a time. Very clean and up to date with showers. Hiking trails very accessible with a calming stream. I was able to hike from camp site to the hot springs. 1.5-2 miles.

    Buffalo outdoor center

    Most beautiful place in Arkansas

    I love this area, we’ve enjoyed the cabins at BOC and brought our RV this time. I have zero complaints about the RV park except be aware it sits on top of the mountain. So wind can be an issue and there’s zero shade. Full hook ups, convenient to all the hikes and activities, totally level pads, and they don’t pack them in here like sardines- there’s only 15 spots. Be aware site 7 is low so if it’s rainy you will have water in your spot.

    Downtown Riverside RV Park

    Great Location

    This location to see downtown Little Rock is fun. We lucked into site 29 which was huge and right on the Arkansas River. There is a pedestrian bridge accessed through a security gate that crosses the river and arrives at the Clinton Library and park. It was so nice to stroll through after a day of driving. The RV park itself is pristine, no trees, but fenced, secure, and has everything RVs need. I would stay again.

    Morgan Mtn Rd/Spy Rock Dispersed

    Perfect spot

    Perfect spot with a great view. We were the only ones and it was super peaceful. Good amount of shade for when it’s hot and good amount of trees to hang tarp when it’s raining. Big area so multiple tents and cars can pull in

    Spring Creek Campground — Buffalo National River

    Primitive camping along the Buffalo River

    Van-camped in site #3 in mid-October, 2025. Free National Park Service primitive campground along the Buffalo Ntional River. The property serves as a drop-off and pickup location for kayakers and canoers. Outfitters may be coming and going. Not all sites are level; varies from site to site. Some sites are walk-ins. Clean vault toilet, supplied with tp and hand sanitizer. No potable water. Sites include table, metal fire ring, and lantern pole. Dirt surface. Good separation between sites but no privacy. A handful of armadillos were scrounging around during the evening. There is a partial view of the river through the trees. The road approaching the campground, CR99, is about 3 miles long and gravel, narrow in places. The last 1.5 miles has some minor erosion and rocky in places. There are no hiking trails at this location. No cell service. Starlink connectivity possible depending on the site. Tent and hammock camping possible. Fishing along the river bank. Overall, this is not a bad campground in a beautiful area.

    Cossatot Falls Campsites — Cossatot River State Park - Natural Area

    A nice primitive get-a-way. Cassattot Falls.

    These sites are now reservable, not first come. You can luck out, but I would recommend reservations. Fantastic large camp sites. 1 and 2 are closest together, and nearest to toilets. 3 though 6 have reasonable separation. All are near the river, but not viewable due to the tree line. Best to bring what you need, (like water). It's 5 miles to pavement. On a good day, depending what you're driving, that's 20 to 30 minutes of dirt, gravel, rocks, and washboards. The visitors center is only a couple miles west on 278. but it's 10 miles more back to town/dollar general. 

    Sand Bar camp is very near also (maybe a mile) and has nice sites as well, though they are smaller and possibly closer together. it's still a good alternative destination.

    Bentonville Bike Camp

    Great place to explore Bentonville and amazing biking trails

    Great private small business! Owners Julie & Jason very easy to communicate with. Campspot registration went smoothly. While we enjoyed Dry Camping meadow, they have a few basic cabins, and several electric sites. If you enjoy supporting a small family business and basic accommodations this place is for you!

    Sunrise RV Park

    Great location & customer service !

    We called and let the office know we were 30 minutes away and the park office was closing in 5 minutes. Shannon said she would wait for us! She was so helpful and even offered to help us hook up as we arrived just as it was getting dark. She also let us know that she was on call and said to let her know if we had ant issues. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Easy on off interstate and food/gas nearby. Small dog park but nice to let pups off leash for a bit. With fan on we didn’t hear the traffic from road. Perfect spot for overnight stay for 2 adults &our pups.

    Sunrise RV Park

    Great spot

    Small stone roads that were clean and nice. Sites are very close together, but well maintained. Full hookups and pull through sites. Dog park and bath houses. Only complaint was the road noise was very close and when a semi tire blew it was extremely loud. All utilities are nice and neat on concrete slabs.
