The campground is very peaceful, only two other campers On a Thursday in the middle of June. There used to be places to get water but they are turned offIt really looks like there is very little maintenance. There are pit toilets But that is it. It is a very peaceful place but lacking in amenities
Driving from Mena to Talihina along this stretch of highway is a treat when it comes to the spectacular views. But stopping at places like this campground even further explain just how much of an amazing place this part of Oklahoma really is! This area was once logged to the point that it was…

This is just a day park
It's a good place to camp they got cabins concessions and rentals
I rode my motorcycle and tent camped for 4 days and three nights. Camp road conditions very good, I have a touring model bike. Owners and staff were great! Very clean, and a very beautiful camp ground! There is ice machine on site, and basic necessities available at the office store. There is also…

Not many spaces for camping but had a beautiful view and clean bathrooms
A must visit! Stunning views of pines and mountains. No reservations, fire rings and picnic tables on every site. A couple trails within walking distance. No firewood or ice available to purchase on site.
Located at the base drive up to Mount Magazine this is a good back up to the state park campground. It is a typical Arkansas campground but it does have decent bathrooms where you're not afraid to step into and has a camp host. It is based on a "lake" so beware of mosquitoes in the summer. We use…
I stayed for one night on the Monday after Spring Break. The campground was quiet and peaceful.
