Nice campground

It's everything you expect from a KOA. Nothing missed. Had a windstorm during the stay, tent campers were put up in the game room.

Slight mountain views, off of long gravel road

TThis campsite was nice. We made the mistake of choosing a campsite that wasn't super tree protected and the wind blew our tent very strongly all night. We stayed in mid-may and arrived at about 9 p.m. and there were plenty of Open Spaces. I hoped to see the sunset in the morning over the mountains…

Camping in Yellowstone at Bridge Bay Campround

Covid restrictions were tight in August of 2020 so not many of the Yellowstone campgrounds were open.  We were lucky to get a space that someone had cancelled on.  Don't give up until your last day to check for availability as there are always cancellations.  We arrived in the evening after…

In. Credible.

Went horseback riding in the backlands.

Yellowstone was awesome! Great views even from touristy spots not on a trail. So many animals/wildlife!

Great time!

Cute spot...it’s located toward the end of the Grand Teton National Park and close to South Yellowstone entrance. No cell phone reception at the sites but that’s ok! Bring bug spray! Lots of little mosquitos around!

Good little campsite

So glad to find this great little campsite on our way to Yellowstone! We like to camp away from crowds & we were the only campers at this sweet little 10 site campground. It is free national forest camping with a vault toilet. There is a campground host. It us near a stream & of course,…

No tent camping

The brochure said '10 tent sites', but when we got there, they do not allow tent camping. The ladies in the office were very, very helpful in trying to look up other campgrounds in the area for us.

The fishing bridge area is closed for the 2021 season

This area has been under construction and was closed in 2020. As a Yellowstone local, we know that it’s also closed in 2021. Just trying to help out other campers for planning.

Can't beat it for convenience

Well, we TRIED to stay here but it wasn't open as of May 11, 2021. We did ride through parts to check it out for the future.

Funniest thing, at the entrance are old school phone booths. With zero cell, you will be kicking it old school.

The loop we drove through was definitely not big rig…

Close to town with lots of mobile homes

For me, this wasn't the ideal place. The perimeter is all full time mobile homes. The interior loop is daily sites.

If you like really nice people, close to town and just a spot to use as a home base for exploring, this place is perfect.

Favorite place.

It's been 12 years since I stayed a week in Yellowstone and this place still stays in my heart. This will always be the most beautiful place on earth to me. You can stay for a month and still not see everything.

Really Busy but Still Great

Pretty good site, but pretty packed and close to others. The campers before us hadn't moved out til we arrived. We were happy to walk over to the shower building even though we had to pay. Overall it had good amenities and it got the job done.
