Fountain of Youth RV Park

I’ve read this campground described as a dirt field between a highway and railroad. I get it. Sites aren’t level. The water spigot is positioned oddly when hooking up. It’s dusty and the bathroom never had TP. The hot spring was nice and the only perk. If you’re passing through, it’s about the same price as the cheapest motel (in August). It’s not a destination.

Basically a dirt lot between the highway and the railroad tracks. Zero shade to speak of. Weak/intermittent WIFI. Very nice folks running it.... But that's a small consultation.

Campground is here because of the hot spring pool and it is worth stopping here. The water is very hot on one end of the pool and cools down nicely as it passes through different parts of the pool.

The campsites are PULL THROUGH, spaced close but you are hear for the water, not the camping. We had site #15 and didn’t have neighbors on one side and had nice bushes for privacy. Highly recommended site 15.

Overall the campground is well maintained, they are fixing it up and making improvements.

Very accommodating check in. Sites are narrow but relatively flat. Hot springs were clean uncrowded and relaxing. Not a fancy resort by anymeans but reasonable.

They did a great job cleaning, painting, fixing and especially the pool! Wow, it was like we were the first ones to ever use it. Check out the pristine photos compared to old photos and reviews shown here. 

We stayed here years ago and the bathrooms and fountain of youth pool was not so clean. It's in a place nearby town so it is convenient to stay here. But now the place was well worth it. It is next to train track and the train will come by at least once or twice in the late night or early morning. Campsites are basic. Nothing special unless you get a spot on the ends. Bathrooms are on one side of campground so park near them.

Mostly came to this place for the showers, which were clean and had hot water. The park however was frankly not the best. The spaces were close and not very clean. The dirt was so compact from RVs pulling in that we could spike our tent. The smell from the fountain of youth was frankly not great. And what they don't tell you is that the train runs about ten feet away from some of the sites. We woke up at one point with the train shaking the ground at about 3:30 in the morning. Overall, would not recommend unless you really need to shower. 🤣

Great soaking pool with extended hours. Camp host Willy was great. It is next to the highway and train tracks but that didn’t bother us because the pool was so enjoyable. Meet some great fellow campers there that come back every year. The town of Thermopolis is fun also.

We went in the winter so traffic was super low. Mostly just us at the park so we got the 2 giant hot spring pools to ourselves. Soak in mineral rich waters up to 110 degrees in some areas. Full hookups, but no water in the winter due to frozen lines.

Open camp-sites (very little shade).  Water, sewer, and electric hook-ups available.  Flush toilets and coin operated showers.  Garbage bins. The hot spring fountain and pools were amazing!!!  Thermopolis was a friendly community with lots of fun things to do!  We took in the dinosaur museum, and it was great!  We were there in the middle of the week, and there were quite a few sites available.

We suggest you take in the Scenic Byway through Wind River Canyon just South of Thermopolis - it's amazing!

$55 night, full hook ups: electric, water, and sewage. Pull thru sites. All sites come with picnic table and fire ring. Sites are level. Not very private. Not a lot of shady trees so camper can warm up even with AC. Dog friendly.

Lovely big hot spring pool. it has different sections with different temps. They clean the pools bi-weekly so make sure to ask when reserving if its a cleaning week because you will lose pool time.

Didnt have much luck with wifi. at&t was very week, verizon was good in the area.

State park near by with more hot spring views and bison views. We did the spirit trail just over a mile.

Beware the whole area smells like rotten eggs due to the sulfer in the springs. It can be nauseating.

We had a terrible time trying to reach someone here to make a reservation but we finally did. -Huge hot pool. -Rest rooms have 2 stalls in women’s. -Showers-there are 4 but 2 are being repaired coin operated. .25 cents for 3 mins. -has full hook-up,pull through. Just electric and water sites as well. -shade available -pet friendly but not a lot of availability to walk other than in campground -next to train tracks.2 a day except Sunday -WiFi is inconsistent, no real cell coverage. -$45 a night

Host was accommodating in finding a spot for our camper van when we arrived late in the day. The hot springs are nice and free to use. They also have showers and laundry for a small fee.

It's our second time

Park is a little tight and in need of some TLC but enjoyed being able to soak in the mineral water.

We went by, but ended up not staying. Not because of the park, but we wanted to be downtown this time. The new owners are working hard on maintenance and upgrades. Concrete pads. Full hookups. Shower house (needing updates, but understand they are in the works). Best of all? 1600 sq ft natural mineral hot springs pool!!! Heaven! Free if staying there, only $10 if not. Campground is right on the river surrounded by mountains. Only draw back is the train tracks across the river. Thank goodness trains don't run often.

Campground is a little run down. RV sites are extremely close to one another. We stopped here for a day pass to use the hot pools. Hot pools are great! $10/person. The park does have WiFi and staff are very friendly. Convenient location near Hot Springs State Park.

This is a nice spot when traveling through Wyoming. The sites could use a little upgrading that’s why I didn’t give it a 5-star rating. The bathrooms were clean, the showers and laundromat are coin operated, and there a full hook-ups for each site. The Mineral Pool is Awesome. Staff very friendly.

Small campground. Charged for showers. Good for one night stay on a long trip to soak in the hot springs.

This great little RV park is outside of Thermopolis by a couple of miles, but it is worth the extra drive. Very friendly staff, the sites are close to gather but comfortable. I’ll hook ups included for a reasonable price. Plenty of trees shrubs and grass around to make a mess outdoors experience. The highlight are the mineral hot spring swimming pools (included). All around great site, highly recommend.

This place was stunning and you can’t beat the mineral hot spring. The facilities could use some updating, you have the sulfer smell constantly, and the train tracks run right by it, BUT I would have stayed a week if I could. Staff was super friendly and the grounds are well kept. Would recommend!

We have stayed here quite often over the past 30 years or so and thouroly enjoyed soaking for hours in enormous pools there .

A great place to hang out and relax in central Wyoming.

Be aware! There are trains that run all night. They are right next to the campground. Coin showers and laundry. Drive through sites.the hot springs pool was hot and nice to relax.
