Good for what we needed

Quaint place with full hookups and amenities. The men's bathroom was quite dirty but the owners were friendly and the wifi worked well.

Remote and Sparten = Beautiful

Bear Lake is the water you will enjoy when visiting this campground. New renovations planned starting fall 2021. Last chance for dry camping (vault toilets and showers possible at Rendezvous Campground).

The access to Bear Lake is great for kayaks, paddle boards, and swimming!

Cozy and comfortable

Sunrise Campground sites are immersed in trees to give you a surrounding cozy and comfortable feeling. Back in sites include a fire ring and sturdy picnic table... Not sure about the pull-thru sites.

For site 15, the sunrise peeked thru the trees into my tent. As I got going, I walked around the…

Campground

Pulled into this campground on memorial day afternoon. We had the whole place to ourselves. There are some improvements being made. There are a number of small streams running through the campground making things a little wet. If you have an RV the asphalt drives are not very even. Still a…

Need high clearance

This site is incredible. It’s gorgeous however in my equinox I had to drive half on the edge of the road because the dirt road into the area where other tires go was so deep. There is no cell service at all ATT wise, my onstar WiFi wouldn’t even connect. It’s just one big open field.

Easy to get to and basic

We just needed a place to stop for the night. This had a pit toilet which wasn’t bad. My husband fished the creeks and we saw a ton of fish. FS said it was closed but there was no gate and others campers so we gave it a shot. Glad we did. The little lake across the street was awesome to catch and…

Perfect Spring/Early Summer Camping

We have camped here almost every year and it's amazing every time. The wildflowers are beautiful but once it hits late June they are usually gone. The campsites are great. They are close together but it doesn't feel like it because there are so many trees and the creek that runs through the…

Beautiful family friendly

Campsites are shady. The small lake is great for kiaks, paddle boards or row boats. There is a variety of hiking trails. One goes all around the lake. Not for large RVs.

Stunning views BUT.

Absolutely stunning views BUT I cannot adequately describe the smell of sulfur and rot that permeates the island. No idea when I'll get the smell out of the camper. ALSO THE SWARMS OF MOSQUITOES. I am wearing 3 layers of clothes in the scorching heat of the day because they are biting through my…

Bear Lake on Utah side 🤠

Very nice spots for a 40 ft classA or any large RV. Pretty level with nice views. All have water, electric but no sewer. Our site is 11 and it is right off the beach and no campers are able to block our view. Again a awesome lake for kids because you can walk out in the lake pretty far before it…
