Take Highway 2 over Stevens Pass to find old-growth trees around each spot at Money Creek Campground, plus a view of a classic metal train trestle. Fill each day with hikes through the Cascade forest, perhaps on a stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail where it passes the Stevens Pass Mountain Resort ski area. Head east of Stevens Pass to verdant Lake Wenatchee State Park for wooded campsites near the shores of a placid mountain lake and a stable inside the park offering trail rides through the summer. Sometimes camping in Washington means getting off the beaten track to explore the quiet corners of the state. Take a forest road in Olympic National Park to find a green haven of mossy logs and curious chipmunks, or head north around Mount Baker, the Cascades’ northernmost volcano, for boat-in campsites around Baker Lake. In winter, the snowy expanse of Artist Point near Mount Baker' offers killer views of rugged glaciers for intrepid snow campers and backcountry skiers.


There are spectacular overnights to be had in the Pacific Northwest’s national and state parks, not to mention the remote U.S. Forest Service lands that blanket this corner of the country. Olympic Wilderness Basecamp

Welcome to Old Iron Park. We are a small working farm and venue with a conservation mindset and a focus on sustainability. Our property is divided by Johns Creek and surrounded boasts large timber. We grow winter squash and sunflowers and host a great car show the end of August, an Antique Tractor Show in July as well as a spring and fall swap meet. The south side of the creek is devoted to our venue and camping areas. The north side offers silvopasture, timber ground and a horse boarding stable. We are close to town and a great place to stay if you're in town for the Ridge Motorsports Track events or if you are planning an adventure into the Olympic National Park.



OLD IRON PARK

Echoes of the Sea invites you to relax and recharge in an ever-evolving boutique-style vacation environment. This quaint Copalis Beach property is conveniently located on State Route 109 between Ocean Shores and Seabrook and offers RV spaces, campsites, and several beach-themed guest rooms. Built in the early 60's, the motel/motor lodge has eight units; two 2-bedroom units, four 1-bedroom units, and two studios. Themed rooms reflect some of the most popular reasons for visiting the Washington Coast including sailing, fishing, whales, and other sea life. The property also has 10 RV spaces with 30-amp/water service and tent sites with community water source, picnic tables, and fire pits set on 7.4 mostly wooded acres. Community bath/shower houses, a clam washing area, and an RV dump station are also available to our guests.

Echoes of The Sea / Rich Life Retreats LLC

This is a small group area that has room for 5 vehicles and 25-30 people. It is located within the La Wis Wis campground . La Wis Wis is a large campground (100 sites) located right off of US Highway 12 at the junction of the Clear Fork of the Cowlitz and the Ohanapecosh River. It is situated in an old growth stand of Douglas Fir, Hemlock and Cedar. Most sites offer good privacy. The Purcell Falls Trail #162A and the Blue Hole Trail #167 originate from the campground and offer views of the falls and the Blue Hole along the Ohanapecosh.

Coho Campground

Settle into easy access RV site and get ready to adventure. This site is across the street from Mayo Cove Inlet, which is an easy spot to drop your kayak or paddle board in and explore wildlife or paddle across to Penrose State Park. There is a dock to moor a boat at the State Park if you wish. This is directly across the inlet from the property. Multiple beachfront parks nearby with hiking, marine exploring, and shellfish harvesting options during season. Fishing and boating on Bay Lake just down the road. Many beautiful areas to enjoy by foot or car within minutes. This site includes 2 RV hookups, so there is an option (at additional cost) to have 2 trailers if you wish to share the space with a friend. The site is about a half mile off of the main highway on the Key Peninsula and are just the right size for your RV and truck or car. Lakebay Getaway 

With all campsites located near the shoreline of glacially carved Lake Quinault, visitors are sure to enjoy the beautiful shoreline and interpretive opportunities in the area. From old-growth trees in the surrounding rain forest to excellent fishing, Willaby Campground's location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Recreation The forest features 10 miles of hiking trails and many waterfalls within walking distance of the campground. Lake Quinault is part of the Quinault Indian Nation As such,You must have a fishing permit and or boat permit through the Quinault Indian Nation. Both may be purchased through local merchants. Lake Quinault Lodge offers boat and kayak rentals as well as a number of interpretive tours. Facilities There are 21 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 16 feet in length, however no hook ups are provided. Some sites are in wooded areas and others are not; many of the sites have a view of the lake. The campground has a potable water system. The site also has a barrier-free flush toilet as well as several accessible camp and picnic sites. Natural Features The forested slopes of Olympic National Park provide a scenic backdrop across Lake Quinault. Towering conifers including Sitka spruce, Douglas-fir, western hemlock and western red cedar provide dense shade for this beautiful setting. The forest floor is covered with lush rain forest plants including moss, ferns, false lily-of-the-valley and oxalis. Nearby Attractions Nearby, Lake Quinault Lodge offers a restaurant and gift shop. Short trails in the area include the Big Spruce Tree Trail, Forest Service Nature Trail, Kestner Homestead Trail and the Maple Glade Trail. Explore the ocean beaches close-by as well as the National Fish Hatchery. For a more adventuresome day, drive up the valley to hike along the rivers or climb the 4,200 ft. Colonel Bob Peak for expansive views of the mountains and valleys on a clear day. ADA Access: N

A large covered shelter is located on the shore, which was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, it provides opportunities for large families or groups.
