Decent Campground

We went during Memorial day weekend which is a very busy camping weekend. It's a cool spot and the drive there is beautiful. It's the only campground in the general area meaning it's the only bathroom nearby. I'm sure the experience would be different if it wasn't a busy weekend. The entire time…

Elk bugling all night!

We were the only campers here when we pulled in. Gorgeous pine forest all around, lake view though it’s private so no access. Cute cabins around lake. Super quiet until dark when the elk started their singing! So cool! Absolutely loved it. Spaces are far apart.

Hidden gem

We were so surprised by this sweet little area right off our journey south. An excellent place to stop for a hike, camp or just a simple stretch on a long drive. Well maintained, private, clean restrooms and showers

Beautiful site, but the trash..

The camp sites are prefect. Enough privacy in between, nice amount of room. The trash surrounding the lake was rampant. Great fishing, shore or water- lots of access. The road to the campground was dirt gravel, easily drivable even for the smallest vehicles. Some sites accommodated RVs. There…

Quick river access

This campground was a really fun trip! We had sites 13 and 14 for 9 total people. If I were to do it again, I’d reserve one additional for that size of group. The campsites were on the smaller size. Site 13 had significantly more shade than site 14. It was very hot when we were there, so we…

The Most Camped in eastern Oregon

Great hidden spot

This is a great mostly unknown little campground. Fun fact: This is the least used campsite maintained by the Lower Granite Natural Resources Management team.

Let’s get to the bad/good, depending on how you look at it.

1. There is NO running water available, unless you want to get some from…

Rustic campground with a neat history

We tent camped for the weekend in mid-July. The plan was to camp at Jubilee Lake, but it was full when we arrived Friday evening. Target Meadows is just a short drive from the lake, but there were plenty of sites available. The campground is heavily wooded with beautiful evergreens. Sites are…

Short but sweet!

My daughter had a softball tournament in Walla Walla so my sons and I opted out of the hotel and stayed one night at this campground! It was awesome-clean, each space was very private and the restrooms were great. The only thing that bothered us was the mosquitoes! We weren’t expecting that but…

Majestic.

We've stayed for two nights, very primitive but they do have vault toilets. The backyard of the campsites are filled with lush trees and the hiking trails are everywhere around the campground. Very majestic because of the views around, the campsites are not close to each other make it…
