As a Spokane local, I spend a lot of time in riverside with my family. We thought a night camping there would be a fun way to wrap up spring break. The bathhouse is dated but clean, the access to hiking and biking is fantastic, and there are nice sandy swimming holes just down at the river. The…
Very easy to find campsite. Plenty of space Fe our vehicle, a fire pit and grill area. Just overall a great experience.
This RV park is right in town near all the local amenities. Lots to do here, hiking, boating, swimming. There are nice shade trees and nice space between campsites.

This is my second visit to Liberty Lake Regional Park. After 4 years, it’s still a great park, if a little older. There are about 18 RV sites, all with water and 30amp electric, and 2 full hookup sites up on the hill. There are also about 15 tent sites, and a group site. The road coming into the…
Just started using it . 😁 So far
Beautiful park right on the Spokane River with lots of hiking. Very clean and well maintained. The park rangers were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!
This is a nice park and the western most point to the Centennial Trail, but there are no campsites and it is not allowed. There is nearby camping connected to the Riverside State Park system.
We stayed in site #4 which was right at the end with glimpses of the Palouse through the trees and lots of space. You could easily set up 2 tents there. It was $15 a night plus $5 for an extra car. Nice campground, clean, trash cans at each site and a pit toilet. There’s a little trail at Kamiak…

Fun spot. I have only boat camped it. The docks offer mooring and a porta potty at the lower part of the campground. Steep but doable hike from the water up to the RV campsites. Some campsites offer incredible views looking south over the lake. For better Lake camping look up Mica Bay Boaters…
Pulled into the campground late at night. It was snowy so we were the only ones. We were able to pull off beside of the bathroom. There were 2 picnic tables/fire rings off to the side. Nice lake when waking up. Would explore other options next time but is nice if you’re in a pinch.
Being from Kentucky I now rank myself as a lightweight after visiting Farragut State Park and realizing the weather people camp during in Idaho! Thimbleberry is a nice size group campground on the far side of Farragut SP. this is a basic area with room to spread out. Pit toilets , but no shower…

Gilmore Campground Farragut State Park, Idaho Lake Pend Oreille
I crossed the Montana / Idaho state line this morning and was pleasantly surprised at the AMAZING scenery . I’m from way over in Kentucky so maybe this is a best kept secret or it’s just not well advertised but NORTHERN…

This is a spacious, green campground surrounded by trees and greenery. Great for bike rides, fire pit cooking and hiking. There is a lot of space between campsites and it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. Great for kids, families and photography. This is a popular spot for…

Not a formal RV site but has space to fully set up with anything you have.
This is not a free spot, and closes earlier in the fall season.
It costs extra for extra spaces. Dirt roads leading up to the sites.
We managed to find a lot of blackberries. There’s no trash areas so you need to pack…
