Welcome to the Wild West - Beautiful but Busy

At first glance, Cow Lake is a beautiful and secluded oasis tucked away in the scablands of Eastern Washington.

However, the area is a very popular local fishing and recreation spot and gets crowded on the weekends.

Cow Lake is about 10 miles east of Ritzville and is a free, dispersed camping…

Camping and day use on sand dunes *WiFi

Last visited in 2020. New is Wi-Fi. I did remote work off and on. Used to come every year in late summer when water level is low and there are more sand dunes. There's 6 circular FHU loops (back in only), a group camp and cabin loop. In the main campground campsites are well spaced with room in the…

Decent camp ground

This is a good place to camp, but.

While we did have good coverage for our Verizon phones.  We got site 98 which backs up to the lake.  Great idea, but due to people having no manners, we had people walking through our campsite to get to the water to fish constantly.

This was also the…

Nice place

We didn’t get to fish but we spent the night here on our way home from Seattle. Great park. Nice views. A fair amount of space between the camp spots. WiFi also.

Love this place!

Camp on the water on the beach or up higher. Tucked in right on Moses Lake. Good fishing & a beach with sand. Fully stocked store and friendly staff. I love it here because it’s quiet, fishing dock, and... you can rent golf carts for driving on the beach & campground.

On the River

We visited this KOA for several years on 4th of July to visit a concert in Walla Walla. In the early days this KOA was nothing more than dirt tent sites. Since then, it has developed into a nice campground with mature trees for shade and grass at each site. The river is easy access for launching…

Would pick else where

A lot of rules at this camp ground because it’s attached to a county park. No alcohol at all and they check Quiet hours are VERY strict even when no one else is by you. You can camp by the water but can’t swim by the camp ground only In designated swim zone

Nice campground

As others have said, this campground is on the reservoir at Moses Lake, but it is maybe 20-30 minutes from town. There are really several sections to this campground and they each have a different feel. I am not much of a fisherman, and have always stopped here while traveling, but I have always…

Ok spot in scenic setting

We stopped here in our RV for a night on our way through. The campground isn’t anything to write home about, and seems to cater to fishermen. We thought the setting was scenic, but that’s about it. Wouldn’t want to spend more than a night here.

What a cool place to spend a night

Hard packed sandy road takes you out here. We arrived way after dark. Beware of soft sand on the shoulders but overall 40+ foot rigs can make it as the road is very wide. Head back 2-3 miles and you’ll see tons of other people. We just parked right off the road for the least risk of getting…

Charbonneau Park COE

June 9-14, 2019 Beautiful and quiet park. Site 14 has water, electric and sewer. Park has a dump station. Using our lifetime senior pass, we paid $12 per night. The restrooms were clean and had flush toilets and showers.

Arachnophobia warning

This park is beautiful. Its situated on Lake Sacajawea and great if you have a boat or water toys. There are bathrooms and showers available and both are very clean. The host was very welcoming and assisted us in getting a single site for the entire time we were there, all five days. There were…

Not so hidden gem

This little campground/RV resort is just off a freeway & lots of trains travel close by....BUT, if u live nearby & are up for a last minute camp trip, this place satisfies! I don't fish, but I'm told they catch em off the docks. The host keeps things real clean/nice looking, and I'll bet u…
