Pretty and clean, but a bit cramped

The campground in general was very nice: playgrounds and a lake nearby, and suitably close to a number of small towns and the Alder Lake Dam to have stuff to check out.

Unfortunately, our campsite (53) wasn't trimmed back sufficiently, so the grassy area where you'd normally put a tent was about…

  • Firewood was $7 a bundle from the camp host, and they had carts to bring it back to your campsite.
  • The swimming area is marked off by big booms and was fairly calm.

Average; Good Bargain Stay

Definitely not upscale which can be a good thing. Friendly folks in the office and on the phone. Stayed Memorial Day weekend in a site along the Lewis River. Somewhat small sites, but not overly so. Restrooms were fairly clean, but some accumulation of leaves and dirt dragged in on shoes, Small…

Close to amazing hiking

This is a popular, reservable campground at Mt Rainier. There are 5 loops with A loop and R(Road) loops not reservable. There is a fancy electronic iron ranger at the ranger station(something the rangers want you to use even when they are in their booth and clearly able to handle reservations). I…

This spot has the most delicious water I have ever had.

Creek access.  Usually pretty quiet.  MTB trails right outside camp.  I understand this is a moto camp, but have never been there during the moto season.  One of my favorites,

Close to MORA, lots of MTB trails.

MTB trails right in camp.  Some sites are pretty private.  Right on a creek, swimming hole under bridge near campsite 1.

We had a great time with the kids.

Our family had a great time at Harmony Lake. The staff was helpful and the prices are reasonable. The park is clean and most of the sites have large trees around them.

Easy, comfortable, pretty quiet campground near St Helens south side

We are a professional late 50s / early 60s couple new to the van life, and not RV-oriented, so we are a little careful about choosing sites with adequate peacefulness, space and privacy.  Cougar is a relaxed campground worthwhile as a base camp for the south side of Mt St Helens and its great lava…

Secluded and a number of spots

Tucked away with very little traffic on a May Friday night. Lots of barking dogs in proximity to the sites which can be heard all night

Beautiful and Spacious

We stayed for seven nights in this beautiful campground. Our spot was a very spacious pull through with water and electric. Campground was completely full on weekends but we had it to ourselves during the week. Walking distance to the day use beach area. Very clean showers. Well maintained sites…

Just beautiful, a fine RV camp

What a gorgeous place.  Elk Meadows is far up a well paved road just before the entrance into national forest land.  The spots at the northern edge of the park look out over a beautiful meadow backed up by astonishingly huge and beautiful Mt Adams, snow covered now and towering over the green…

Great Campground!

Beacon rock main campground is pretty great! You have miles and miles of hiking which lead to a waterfall you can hop in and beacon rock. The sites at the main campground will cost $30 a night and there are around 20 spots. The spots are pretty close together and it definitely would not be ideal…

Beautiful Campground

I believe this campground is under new ownership. You can see they’ve been putting a lot of work into it. Paving roads, landscaping, etc. Looks great and well maintained. RV spots are gravel pads and had water and electric, some had full hook up too. Some spots are better suited for larger rigs…

Regular campsites and yurts - YES; RV spots - NO!!!

I love Seaquest for their beautiful campsites and the proximity to a wonderful forest to bathe in. But don't go for the RV sites, which are laid out in a parking lot setting with no real distance from neighbors and not surrounded by trees. Unless that's your jam. It was definitely not ours, tent…
