Tight sites

Most RV sites are very narrow, but location is a short drive to Seattle.

Remote

Went here as a child and returned for the first time as an adult. Beautiful campground. No Amenities however. There’s only one water pump at the beginning of the campground and no hookups at any of the sites. Vault toilets but they were kept very clean and didn’t smell awful. Great Lake for…

The view is worth it

Okay so there are a few things to know before making the trek here:

  1. You don’t need a permit or anything to stay but you DO have to pay $30 to park your car on the premises and the pay station is in the middle of the road on your way in. So DONT pass it like we did.

  2. Some sites are reserved…

Wonderful!

I’m not sure I want to share what a great place this is! Absolutely lovely campground. Immaculate and quiet except for the sound of I-90 in the background. This is a go-to place for us. Spots on the river are really nice but really all of the sites are lovely. Bathrooms are amazingly clean.

  • Perfect!
  • Nice level sites
  • Just behind our spot

Great spot, a lot of opportunities

Stayed two nights in site 17. Right across from the creek. Osprey neat above us. Water levels were low enough that kids played in creek a lot. State park is less than a mile away with a huge beach, full facilities on Lake Wenatchee. Highly recommend it here!

Best site in the national park

This site is by far the best site in the national park. I love the trail here. It's very secluded, and not many people come by. On top of that, it's marmot heaven. Be aware and prepared as bears do roam around here quite often. Bring a bear cannister for sure.

Beautiful Lakeside Campground

Loved our weekend at Bumping Lake! Our site in the Upper Campground was really nice and spacious, with a very new seeming fire pit and picnic table. Water and vaulted toilets were available throughout the campground. Some spots to access the lake throughout the campground, but the best place we…

Breath taking

This camp site was so beautiful and peaceful. I loved the view and the snow there didn't bother me one bit. I plan to visit this spot many times this year and future years to come.

Quiet & Spacious

We had an amazing time here. The campground was quiet, not too crowded (Sunday - Tuesday) and so close to many trails. A quick walk to the river was a nice way to finish the day. We stayed in 17 and although it was near a road, it was private and you could not hear any road noise after the first…

Solid Camp Ground

We went for just car camping. Clean camp sites and nice bathrooms. Wasn’t all that crowded, nice beach when the tide is out. Once the tide comes in the beach gets really small. Nice views too.

Tall Chief

We really enjoyed our stay here it was very quiet and peaceful sites were long and roomy with a fire ring and picnic table. Good cell service with AT&T and Sprint. The pool was closed and no hot tub decent club house with a pool table. We did not use the laundry but it looked fine. Our site was…

Short Trip from Seattle

Loved our weekend at Middle Fork!

We had one of the group campsites, and very easily fit 9 people. Toilets were very well maintained and the host was selling firewood.

The river is only a five minute walk away, and we spent most of one day there. I was very surprised by how quiet it was for only…

Nice camping ground except mosquitos and crowds

Popular camping ground. Visited in Fourth of July weekend. It was very busy.

For the most part, beach side is windy, lake is wavy; campground (south side) is hot and dry. For one day, when the beach side was hot and quite, there were a lot mosquitos.

it is a sand beach with clean lake…

Mountains, trees, streams, good ol dirt. Smiles and miles of Lake Kachess.

In mid-June 2021, we packed our camping gear and our German Shepherd and rumbled into Kachess Campground for a one-night stand.  Our tent was staked into site 86 and we took the dog for a walk around the grounds.  I had been here in 2006, but did not realize just how big it was.  The good thing is…

Nice stop over with flat spots

Pretty nice park for a quick stopover or base camp. No picnic tables and only a small outdoor area. Almost everyone at this campground just stayed in their campers all day.

I was a little disappointed in the bathrooms and service. Staff seemed annoyed when I asked for quarters which were…
