Quiet, dog friendly, good beach access

Lamp camp called us on our scheduled day of arrival. They informed us of their no contact check in policy. We were pleased to find a nice, quiet, no frills rv park. Spaces are roomy compared to other rv parks in the area. We had a short 1/4 mile walk to the beach. Camp hosts were very friendly. We…

Convenient & Mostly quiet

We arrived late after leaving Portland for Mt Rainier. We stayed in a tent site right on the main road. Cars started going by early in the morning (Friday). Had a beautiful morning walk through the old growth forest before packing up and heading to the National Park. We had water, but the bathroom…

Nice RV spot by the bay

Laid back and friendly place for RVers. Bay is a mud flat here so no waves. I liked my premium spot with a water view.

  • Low tide from my picnic table on berm.

Great campground to launch your boat

Nothing to complain about but nothing special. It’s clean, convenient but not much else. It is nicely paved so good for roller skates etc. The bank is very steep/high so no access to lake from campground. There is access to the lake through a gate in the campground that leads to the boat launch.…

Quiet and nice space

Camped at site 19 which is at the end of a row of spots, closer to the beach. Sandy area, flat, could hear the waves. Fire ring and table. Was super quiet and the bathroom was very clean. Super nice owners! Went from the State park to here because we wanted a fire. Nice flat spot for a tent.

Beautiful, quiet, secluded campground

This small, private campground located just SW of Mt Rainier NP is owned and managed by Brian and Tom, a very friendly and caring couple. The campground is immaculately maintained and they are gradually working on expanding a few more sites. It is only open late spring thru early fall, and…

If your jam is rvs and boats, this is the joint!

First off, wonderful humans run this place! Campsite has lots of trees and shade (unless you are in lot across the road). Water is clean and the power is consistent.

Wonderful sites by the lake.

A little crowded, but a nice visit.

We hadn’t been out in awhile, so we stayed here just one night to test out some new equipment. Sadly, the current restrictions wouldn’t allow a fire, but we understood. The only thing I would change is the neighbors with their 5 kids, 3 puppies, and no discipline... Several nice geocaches on the…

Beautiful lake and nice facilities

We stayed at Alder Lake campground in a water and electric hookup site. The campsites are partly shaded with grass. The pad is paved but ours was not at all level. The bathrooms are very nice. They charge a nominal fee for the showers but they have great water pressure and hot water. A lovely lake…

Nice small oark

This park has a little if everything. There’s a playground, basketball and tennis courts though the latter two are not in great shape. It’s really windy here and the spots right in the river are the best views with the most wind. We crossed the Astoria bridge and played around at Fort Stevens. We…

Not remote but quiet

This campground is located just off of I-5 in Olympia, WA. Privately owned and very nice. Large sites, many with hookups for RVs. Pets are welcome. You can hear some road noise but it’s generally quiet. Lots of trees, sites are roomy and clean. Camp owners are extremely kind and do a wonderful job…

We keep coming back!

We love lake Curlew and Fishermans Cove is a special place. From the owners to the guests that come back year after year. Amazing. The restaurant, store and amenities are fantastic. We always catch a bunch of fish for a fun fish fry our last night. Rent a boat super fun! We’ve stayed in the cabins…
