I arrived after a storm hit the area and had to wait until the park team cleared downed trees from the park roads. They did an efficient job. Stayed in Squirrel Haven campground with 30 amp and water hookups. Site 44 was level. There’s a good amount of space and cover between campsites. Dump…

A Texas C.C.C. state park in east Texas on Caddo Lake. Beautiful sites and canoe rentals for the old mill pond. Tent sites, RV sites and shelters along with cabins.
The pool was closed the whole time we were there. I could understand a day, but they just kept trying to fix it themselves instead of getting a professional. We stayed here for the pool so, at$55 bucks for grass and gravel and no pool, we were not impressed. The women's toilets were new and clean,…
Free spot with beautiful Lake views. Perfect spot to watch the sunset/rise
Bumpy road, hard to navigate at night.
I had a business trip and she Louisiana and they treated me very well I would definitely recommend it
Here to visit family in the area, good central location. Close to Walmart, home depot and other shops.
We were at Mill Pond site #64. Right on the water, it was really beautiful. I’d heard after heavy rains this campsite goes underwater.. something to keep an eye on. We didn’t have a kayak when we were camping but were able to rent one nearby and had a blast on the water. Didn’t see any gators…

Pros: There is only one site right next to it... I don’t like being cramped between two sites
Trees for hammocks
Site is right on the water. I don’t kayak but I think you could easily get in the water from the site.
Lots of history at this park and some short, beautiful trails
Our stay here was great! We had fun fishing, boating, geocaching, cooking out and more. Grounds are in good shape and fishing is good.

Spur of moment trip to just get away. Fwel lucky to find. Nice, clean, friendly, concrete backin spaces, big, shady, quite, wildlife roaming, friendly staff, no sewage but dump station, showers dated but hot water and clean. Swimming, gated, need pass, boating, playground. Close to historic , I'm…

This is a nice, relatively secluded campsite on the Sabine River / Toledo Bend Reservoir area. Access is easy as it is a mix of hard packed gravel and paved roads, with designated parking for each campsite. Sites are well designed with grills, fire pits, and ample flat space for tents. The bugs…

Nice access to the lake. Campground hosts are very helpful, gate is locked at night so keep the email with the code if you want in late or out early. We got caught in a pop-up shower with the rain fly off lol but then again, that’s camping.
The view was great. We were tent camping and were told spot 11 and 10 would be the best for tent camping. This was not the best spots the roads also need a lot of attention they were very rough.
On our first trip to Arkansas, enjoyed our stay here. Stayed a couple of days acclimating 2 dogs to life in a rig. We experienced an issue with some equipment and the manager stepped in quickly and was able to provide a solution. Everyone we met there was very friendly and we loved sitting outside…
Great spot! Clean bath houses, great lake for fishing and yaking. We enjoyed the trails and extra activities for the kids!
