Overall pretty good experience, however the mosquitoes are annoying. We left with so many mosquito bites that it’s ridiculous. The grounds could be better kept i.e cutting the grass. Very clean bathrooms and competent staff. We originally had parked close to the river but had to relocate due to…

Just chill. The place is clean, not much around and free. The beach is made up of shells, not sand, so some sort of protective shoes are needed. That aside, there is not much to do here except to relax. And that is just we wanted.
When we stayed in early April there were plenty of other campers…
Well maintained park, close to Presidio and Goliad downtown. Nice bike trail and paddle destination.
Camped with all 5 of our little ones, great campground, staff was friendly and helpful and the store right by the park gates sells hard wood firewood for a decent price
The other reviews were very promising, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of peace and relaxation. I live in north Houston, and it took us about 3 hours to get there, on a Friday afternoon. Since we went in the wintertime, there weren’t that many people, but the people…

We only did two nights here. It was windy and cold so we didn’t get to check the whole resort out. I will say all the staff are friendly and courteous. Great view of the lake from our end spot. We will be back again.
Great spot to relax and have peace and quiet. Pre ordered fire wood. They had it already at my site. I was escorted to my site and given the run down. Only stayed for one night but I could stay here for a couple weeks. A few full time workers but you only see them early in morning or late at night.
Free beach camping. There’s plenty of other campers here. And seashells everywhere!! By day there’s a seeming ugly view of an oil refinery across the water... but by night that place lights up and there’s something more whimsical about it. This was fun for a one night stop along the way.
I feel I got kind of lucky to find this beautiful weather spaces spot full hookup may come by once a week to empty your tanks
What a gem of a park! We only stayed one night so I did not get to use any amenities except for the DOG Park! What a wonderful amenity with the automatic lights for after dark. Park was very clean and quiet. The way the site was set up was truly delightful. Picnic table in just the right place, Oak…
Some places are just best discovered than read about, and Magnolia Beach is one such place. We came for a night, and stayed for a week. This place just might win the award for the most chilled-out camping area on the continent– but it would have to muster enough enthusiasm to enter the contest.…

A mix of folks RV, car, tent camping! Some folks are definitely here for a long time.
- you can drive right on the beach and park feet from the water
- plenty of space on the beach
- pier at the end of the beach if you want to fish!
- little pavilions with tables underneath
Alright first off the bad
There are train tracks right behind the park and lots of trains running
The good Good price, $375 a month+ electric, concrete spots, plenty of shade, wind blocks, very good location grocery store, hardware store and anything you need Walmart, heb and food less then 5 min…
The river is a beautiful site no doubt. The campgrounds are older and could use a bit of updating. We were close to the river. Was a bit disappointed as when booking through TT website, it said full hook ups when we arrived, only Water and Electric were available. ( reason for the 4 instead of 5…

During fair weather this beach is great! It's hard pack, natural she'll sand, easy to drive on and we'll kept. However, we experienced a cold front this week (Thanksgiving week 2020) that was very difficult. The wind was treacherous coming off the bay, the surf was angry. It was not the beaches…
