Wagner Subscriber Campout

We stayed at this campground in the group camp area. The sites are tight but do provide water and 30 amp electric.

The campground offers a pond for fishing , swimming pool , bounce pad , inflatable lake fun, dog park and mini golf.

Since we were there as a group event we didn’t use any of…

Friendly atmosphere

Great owners that care about the camping experience and provide activities on the weekend for the kids. Pretty spacious sites

Extensive Campground

This is an extremely large campground. About seventy-five percent of the sites are electric. We stayed in Site 255, which was not electric (booked last minute). This site was fairly level but very close to other sites…wouldn’t recommend it. However, Site 269 (next to Site 277) afforded great…

Not family friendly

Thought this would be a good campground for a family and it wasn’t. Lots of rules limiting the kids. Kids stuff is only open during certain times. Staff are unpleasant.

Rundown KOA

We were surprised to pull into this KOA after a long day of driving to find it very rundown. Pool is not functional. Not necessarily a big deal, but don’t advertise you have pool. Play area was falling down. Bathroom facilities were clean. Looks like they’re trying to make improvements. If you have…

Calm

We stayed two nights at 16N electric site with our 16ft camper. Lots of room, and sits on higher ground. Mosquitoes were crazy no matter the bug protectants used but it had been a very wet year and the park was scheduled to spray soon. Lake life is where it’s at, plenty to do on/in the water! Bike…

Great family friendly campground

We stopped here for a night on our cross-country trip, wish we had 2 nights because we had lots of thunderstorms.  We camped in our teardrop on the primitive tent loop.  Sites were nice and secluded where we were, but you could hear a few late night partiers nearby.  Tons of things to do…

My favorite State Park so far!

LOVED this park.  There is a great amount of greenery between sites, bathrooms were good.  So much to do you don't have to leave the park:  great bike paths / hiking paths, a lodge with restaurant, cabins, golfing, kayak rental, beaches, tennis, basketball.  Really, almost anything you can think…

Fantastic KOA

We’ve been to many KOA campgrounds over the years. Some great, some I’ll never go back to. Hogback Lake definitely ranks at the top of the list. The owners take excellent care of the property and you can tell they’re continually reinvesting in maintenance and upgrades. They have a new pool and lazy…

THIS is how campgrounds should be!!

This campground is so thoughtfully planned out, it's amazing. Every site is separated by a line of brush/bushes, maybe trees, so that you aren't jammed up against your neighbors. Some sites have shade, some do not, but at least you have shrubbery. The bathrooms were clean and some had doors you…

Great amenities for kids and groups

We were there for a group meetup so the campground was very accommodating. However, it would be an entirely different experience for weekend solo camping. There are a lot of seasonal campers and then our group.

Your family will love the amenities. The sites are very close together. Whatever you…
