One of my all time favorite places

This is one of the most amazing little spots. The true forgotten coast. From the bay to the Gulf of Mexico beautiful scenery, lots of nature, and some of the most breathtaking sunsets you can catch. Unfortunately hurricane Michael devastated this area causing the camping site of the park to…

A great place to go with family and friends or by yourself.

I had fun kayaking down the river.  Met great people.  Everyone was kind and friendly.  Camp was great.  Bathrooms very clean.  Fishing was good.  Caught stripped bass and smoked them, they were delicious.  Sights were spectacular.  Recommend this place to everyone.

  • Fish we caught and smoked. Awesome.
  • The kids did t want to leave they lived it here. Lol
  • Hanging with family.

A hidden gem. Great place to stay. Beautiful park.

Ed and Bernices is a hidden gem.  Beautiful park.  Very peaceful.  You have a boat ramp for use with your rental.  The park and bathrooms are very clean.  Staff is very nice and helpful.  A fish cleaning station.  Bring your toys for the river, we had a blast.  Everyone in the park treated us like…

Great camping g on the forgotten coast

Camped here for two weeks in July of 2019. Very nice clean campground. Boasts a herd of dappled deer and white squirrels. Not albino but white with a small patch of gray on top of their head. Supposedly brought here by a gypsie from Spain.they were trapped on a game preserve smuggled here by said…

Beautiful oaks and the famous white Squirrels

This trip, we stayed 2 nights in space 25. It is convenient to the bath house (which is among the cleanest we've ever seen) and has plenty room for our 28' trailer. All of the spaces are very close to their neighbors, some are too close. This park is the tightest Fl State Park in our experience.…

Right on the water!!!

This campground is a perfect place for a long weekend. Family owned and operated! It's small and the sites are tight BUT get a water front and all that fades away!!! The sunsets are fantastic. There is a fishing pier and small beach. The bath house is sparkling clean and the pool is great! I will…

Get Away from it All!

Womack Creek Primitive Sites- Some have electricity hook ups, and some do not. Only one site on the whole property has water. If you want to get away from it all, this site is for you! Just note that "non-potable water" means that there isn't any, not that you cannot drink it. There is one road in,…

One of our favorites! Wish we could have stayed longer

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Stayed 3 nights in 35 foot RV+tow car at$29/night. This stop was not ever part of our plan but when the winter weather forecast for TX came in we decided to extend our Florida stay before heading west as planned. We…

Small wooded campground on the beach

Lots of regular campers that seem to know eachother, all very friendly and chatty. Lots of very squirrels, they beg for food (so cute). The beach is just a few steps away. Bathrooms, laundry, a general store about 3 miles away and a wonderful little town (St. Joe) about 10 miles away. Loved it…

Mountains of Florida

Secluded sites, great night sky

We camped at Pidcock Road Campsite #49 during the 2020 Leonid meteor shower.  Nice place for dogs (req'd on leash) as no other campsites nearby.  Very quiet, no water or electricity.  Don't trust google map for road directions, you have to approach from the east or north.  Dirt roads could be an…
