Perfect for space or ship enthusiasts

For what it is, this place is perfect. I stayed nearly three weeks here in December before heading back to the cold north, and I couldn’t have asked for much more. Staying out on the inlet, although primitive, does offer a bit more privacy compared to inside the campground. It also gives front row seats to the ships coming to port as well as any launches from cape Canaveral which are much more frequent now. The staff was very friendly and I would absolutely stay here again.

Fun campground

Sites are a bit small, but wow, it's got everything. Breakfast/lunch place, a restaurant with bar within walking distance. Bathrooms are basic but clean. Staff is wonderful. You can see space launches, close to KSC, beach, jetty. Spectacular.

Bad

No dogs allowed and they like many Florida parks should have some way for Fl residence to actually be able to camp in Florida but no they don’t

Would definitely come again

This is our first time here and we would come again. Very clean and the staff is accommodating and friendly. No campfires at test spots. Pretty open layout so not much privacy. There are 10 spots that have no water and electricity that seem to be more private with trees. Very family friendly. You can see the ships come in and out of the port. Overall good spot.

Fun campground

We had a great time camping here. The sites are tight, but the location made up for it. Short 200 yard walk to the beach! Fun watching the cruise ships depart and arrive. Also great location to explore the space coast. We will camp here again!

Great Spot for rocket luanches

Facilities: 3 out of 5, not the best but good enough. Facilities appeared to only be cleaned once a day.  Showers were big and seemed clean but could use some maintenance. Water pressure was good and the hot water never ran out. Stalls had ample space to hang clothes, towel and toiletries without getting wet. If you had a little one with you like we did their was plenty of room.

The campsite: 3 out of 5,  we at first booked a partial hookup spot and then changed to a full hookup spot and I am glad we did. We were in one of the better spots in my opinion and we lucked out. Not all spots have shade which is nice to have when it starts getting into the hotter months. It was also quite windy during the first few days of our stay. Our spot provided good protection from the wind which helped with the awning not blowing around to much and protected us from the dirt/sand that would come across in waves when the wind would pickup. Our site seem to be fairly level, we did not need to level side to side. Water was easy to hookup to, power was very close and so was sewer. The spots are a little tight compared to other campsites we have stayed out but not to bad.  The picnic tables on the site could use some updating, ours was starting to fall apart from the weather.

The beach is a short 5 min walk, you have the fishing pier right there if you want to fish. If you have kids they have a decent playground. It was not overly crowded except for Saturday.

The Wifi was good enough for us to stream TV for the little one when it got to hot outside, it did have some issues but worked for 90% of the time. As for cell service we have AT&T and as always more bars in less places. We would bounce from have 1 bar on 5G to have 2 bars on 5Ge. Speeds were not that great. If you have a weboost or something you would probably be fine. I don't usually hook the phone up to the wifi camp site unless absolutely needed and if I do i use a VPN.

This campground is in a great spot! It’s a short walk to the beach and there are good restaurants a short drive away. Watching the ships go in and out is fun! The lots aren’t private but the convenience to the beach makes up for it. Staff is friendly!

Love this place

For the past 3 years we have been going to the campground every year around August and have an amazing time! Each year it’s something we look forward to all year, and it never disappoints! Sites can feel a little close but for the price and how close the beach is you seriously can’t beat it! 😍🙌🏼

Some good some bad

This campground has a lot going for it however there is a downside there is construction going on right next-door and the noise starts at 7 AM and doesn’t let up till about 5 PM the park has great amenities and great location with the construction noise was a real bummer for me

Nice Location BUT...

What a beautiful location. Near the beach and Port Canaveral.

Unfortunately, this is a dust bowl. You park on concrete slabs that are for the most part, relatively level. All the roads are dirt so there is a lot of dust. If you sit outside for long, you will be covered in dirt. They should lay down a layer of peacock or gravel. That would surely reduce the amount of dust/dirt.

WiFi... HORRIBLE. You better have good cellular. I was near the WiFi pole and the speed test showed that my download was 0.02 MBS and the upload did not even register. It’s a shame that their WiFi is so bad. They have a lot of full time RV’ers that need WiFi in order to stay in touch with family, friends, etc.

I am not sure what other campgrounds are in the area but I cannot recommend this one unless you do not mind no WiFi and arriving with a clean RV - leaving with a filthy RV.

Great Stay

Very friendly staff. Nicely laid out with space for everyone. Walk to the beach! Clean with shade. WiFi, water, electric and sewer hookup as well as tent sites and cabins. Cute! Concrete slabs to park your unit on. The sites 100-144 aren’t as shady. The red knot circle is the most shady.

Very convenient place to stay. It's just a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean

My sister an I stayed here for 2 nites, on a weekend, during August. It was fairly full, but we didn't feel crowded. There is a reasonable fee, but well worth it. There are RV sites, Cabins and Primitive sites. We stayed in a tent at a primitive site, but we chose a site with water and power, since it was hot and we wanted a fan. We also rented a fire ring and there was plenty of wood lying around and for sale. There is a store on premises for convenience (which means pricy), but Walmart isn't that far to drive. There is a shower house with bathrooms, and they were very clean. We spent a lot of our time at the beach, but enjoyed the camping part a lot. Nice. Going back!

Nice park, clean and great amenities

We stayed here in early November 2018. The shower and restroom facilities were very clean. It’s very crowded; we usually stay in more spread out campsites, but regardless it was very quiet at night. There is access to a beautiful beach, a fishing pier, and couple small stores for bait and odds and ends. Overall, very clean and nice for a weekend stay. We loved the variety of things available to us.

RV friendly with great beach access

This is a great spot to RV camping, less so for tent camping. Nice and clean park amenities conveniently located within biking distance of several restaurants at Port Canaveral for dinner with the family or drinks as you watch the cruise ships leave. The campground, Itself, has easy beach access with great views of the sunrise, however this also means it is typically VERY crowded during the summer months. It’s closeness to the jetty means that the waters on the beach side are fairly calm and blocked from the big waves of ships leaving port but the pier on the other sides of the jetty has water deep enough for fishing and even the occasional sea turtle sighting!

This site is also located very close to the boat launch. If you like deep sea fishing this is a great location to bring your boat or look into one of the day trips offered at the Port about a mile away. Great for a day trip if you are visiting the Orlando area or want to avoid beachside hotel prices on a family vacation.

Interesting scenery!

We stayed at Jetty Park on our way up the East Coast of FL. I don't know what I was expecting. As we drove up I realized how large the area is because it is right next to the port. With that being said, traffic flowed with no problems. No worries there! As soon as we parked our RV a huge disney cruise ship sailed right by. They were just leaving port. That was cool to see! And then later that evening a huge tanker came by. There is great playground for kids, a fishing pier, and a beach. There is also a day use area if you just want to spend the day there with plenty of picnic tables.
