Many campers appreciated the well-spaced sites, clean facilities, and quiet atmosphere despite road proximity. The location offers excellent beach access and nearby amenities, though some noted management issues and cramped conditions during busy seasons.

Great location, quaint and clean! All ages park!!

I stayed two weeks here with my dog and loved the location— great bike access to nearby trails and easy drives to Honeymoon Island. Sites were roomy, shaded by beautiful oak trees and there was other people my age around. This is a rare park, for almost everything is 55 and up. But I am 40 and was not surrounded by the old ancient and cranky lol!! The full hookups worked well. Park is quaint and clean, staff were friendly at check‑in, and the heated pool was a nice bonus. Dog-friendly overall(plenty of grassy areas for walks) and doggie doo doo stations all throughout, so bring a long leash but don't stress about poo bags. They offered Wi‑Fi but I use a Star Link because I do love to stream Netflix at night, and guest wifi at parks can be lagging with everyone trying to use it. I got great recommendations from Amanda in the office about places to eat around there. She is a local, and locals know all the good places! Uh let's see, oh Lloyd I think is the maintenance guy. He helped me with my sewer hook up since I was struggling that first day. Check in was easy, because there was no formal one, I got a text with a bunch of info for the bathrooms, wifi and a map. So overall it was a great stay, great location and I'll defiantly be back.

Little tropical gem

We found this little hidden gem at Caladesi RV Park! The park is beautifully maintained and quiet. The trail is right here for biking and the beach is a quick bike ride south. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help-- they truly make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. Sites and bathrooms are CLEAN which is a huge plus!!! My site was cozy with a tropical feel, so very relaxing stay even on warmer days. The park is also pet-friendly and very safe, with respectful neighbors and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved how close it is to Dunedin, Clearwater, and Caladesi Island State Park. A cute little Main Street is around the corner called Ozona with a delicious restaurant offerings. The Ozona pig was delish bbq. If I could have stayed longer we could have.It really offered everything I or you could want in a relaxing RV getaway. We can't wait to come back next year!!! Highly recommend Caladesi RV Park-- can't wait to come back!

Easy reservation and great location

A FCFS spot we had wanted didn’t pan out so we made a last minute online reservation here. Got a text with check in instructions and got there in time to hit the pool and grab ice cream at the super delicious ice cream place next door. East in and out and we were on our way the next day.

Bit pricey

Called to check in and Managers had gone home for the day it was 3pm. Refered to a website that did not work. Called again and the prices on line did not match the fees we had to pay.

Crowded but convenient

There are pros and cons, like anywhere. If you want a convenient location to the beaches, stores, restaurants etc this place is great. But it's crowded and it's hard to get a sense of the community. There's a real mix of permanent, seasonal and "just passing through." I'm here at the tail end of spring break season. Florida snowbirds are just starting to look north. So you might deal with loud music and you might have a nice chat with someone who's been here all winter. I personally don't like how cramped it feels - but honestly in Pinellas County Florida everything is close together. The sites vary in size and shape. My site is clean, hookups all work, gravel must have been added recently. I got a hello text with a map and some brochures dropped at my door. Otherwise no one has bothered me. Don't rely on the wifi. My mobile 5G isn't working great either because of the amount of traffic. The facilities are there, but not spectacular. They don't have enough trash cans, so they overflow a lot. The "fitness center" is an open shack, but it does have equipment. Bathrooms are fairly clean, but not in great repair. The biggest problem is the sand fleas (aka noseeums). They clearly don't spray and there's a terrible infestation. I had welts for weeks. Use bug spray!

The park is clean a quiet.

Nothing but good things to say about the staff and park. Close to the beach and is within walking distance to some really nice restaurants. The Ice Cream shop across the street is amazing. Bathhouses are air-conditioned and clean so is the laundry room also has a coin machine. We were able to pull in with no issues level and clean site Really pretty place to stay.

My stay at Caladesi

I was a regular at Caladesi for 6 yrs,we liked it there cause we could visit and have get togethers in the evening ,eat, play games, sit by a nice fire . The last two years there were hell, starting with no clotheslines, put your wet towel and suits from the pool on your camper! Clothesline just encouraged people not to use HIS washer and dryers . ( so he said) Then no fires (what? It's a campground!) last year was just the worst, no flags to be flown in his ground. No walking around to visit with a open container, he drives around all hrs of the night like a prison guard watching was putting notes on good peoples doors evicting them cause he thinks they are too comfortable! He is a nut who will yell in the middle of the night and throw rocks at your camper if he doesn't want you there . This year more than half of the snow birds got out and moved to other places and I can tell you that they are all much happier, all the new places that we all found were very reasonable , he raised the rent and said another substantial raise was coming so what he quotes you can change by the time you get there . He will tell you that he does not care about any one so do as he says at that moment or hit the road,

Clean and comfortable....

We come down for a week in the summer to various places in FL and after a great experience last year, we gave this one a try again. Once again this rv park has been outstanding. It is pet friendly and everyone seems to clean up after their pets. The pool is clean and clear and that works for me. Also, the manager is always around greeting people and doing things around the park so the grounds are nice and tidy and the full time residents are friendly also. The grounds are decorated with native plants and there is one resident that checks and waters these plants/ flower beds daily to keep them looking nice. She does a great job and it makes the place look great. We can see them while walking to the ice cream shop right next door and it is nice. The restroom/shower house is ALWAYS clean. We don't always want to shower in our rv so this us important to us. It is located close to Honeymoon Island SP and has several local restaurants close by that give us that local atmosphere. This is a very pleasant place to be and when we leave we miss it and can't wait for our next stay! Ron& Gina from Locust Grove, GA

Great quiet location

The lots have space. They are not on top of each other. The lots, bathrooms and laundry room are all kept clean and well stocked. I haven't met a single person here that wasn't friendly and or helpful. We first came here a year ago and I was worried about it being so close to a main road, but after staying here I can tell you that it's very quiet and relaxing.  The pool is always clean and maintained and the beaches are only 5-10 minutes away. The bike trail is right behind the park and has beautiful scenery. There are so many good restaurants close by to try as well. My husband and I are looking forward to many future stays here!

Great location affordable prices

I made my reservation on the website and received a call back confirmation within the same hour I reserved. The sites are spaced out far from each other which was great! I have travelled to a lot of parks That have sites right on top of one another. I was pleasantly surprised to have additional space from my neighboring travelers.  The pool is nice and bathrooms are clean.  The  beach is a 5 minute drive and pet friendly! The Pinellas  bike trail is also located right behind the park and easy to get on. I will definitely come back to this campground. It is Quiet  with lots to do and has a friendly staff!
