Encore Tropical Palms

Encore Tropical Palms accommodates RVs up to 62 feet with full hookups and operates year-round with gated access and on-site management. The resort sits adjacent to Old Town Kissimmee, where visitors can hear Disney fireworks nightly and access Thursday bike nights plus weekend car shows. Staff members in dark green polos patrol the grounds on golf carts and coordinate scheduled activities for guests.

The layout includes narrow, curved roads that challenge navigation in larger rigs. Premium sites on the south side offer more space, while the western Thousand Trails section lacks sewer connections but receives free pump-out service on Wednesdays. Jeremy G. notes he "stayed in the back, so pretty quiet," though the central dumpster area generates odors in Florida's heat and breeze.

Wild deer roam the property throughout the day, and a creek runs through the middle of the resort. Facilities include a pool, mini golf, volleyball courts, clubhouse with pool tables, fitness center, and multiple bath houses with laundry facilities. AT&T provides decent cellular service while T-Mobile offers very good coverage. The resort also features golf cart rentals and a dog bathing station with soap for pet owners.

Campers can explore nearby Sherwood Forest RV Resort or find additional campgrounds near Kissimmee for extended stays in the Orlando area.

Many visitors appreciated the extensive amenities and family-friendly atmosphere with excellent Disney area access. Several noted tight spaces and some noise from adjacent attractions, though most found good value for the location.

Very well kept park

This is a great park very well maintained and clean. Close to all the Disney parks and great eats. Sometimes it is hard to get a booking but well worth it when you do.

Quick weekend trip

We had gotten to this park and was assigned a spot. When we got to our site there was already someone parked in it, no big deal this happens. The new site they gave us was an “upgrade”. So many roots through it, no way level, sewer was uphill so that wasn’t very helpful either

Pretty Landscaping, Very Active RV Park

Good RV Park near Disney and it is a very pretty, lush, tropical park. Old town Kissimmee is right next door, and it has several loud amusement rides. This is definitely an active RV Park, lots of people out enjoying all of the activities. Spaces are tight and roads are narrow and lots of curves and curbs. The only bummer we noticed was the dumpster area in the middle of the park would get hot and it would stink pretty bad, Florida is breezy and it was pretty unpleasant.

They have golf cart rental, thought that was pretty cool.

They have a gate guard shack thing and lots of staff members. They have dark green polos ride around on golf carts. They were very friendly and they have many planned activities for guests and residents.

They have a few sections: -The premium spots on the south side of the park were the nicest with the most space. -Thousand Trails section is on the West side and they do not have sewer (they said they are working on this in 2020)

Lots of built in units for rental, some streets are narrow and challenging to navigate. Many spots did not have sewer, but they had free pump outs every Wednesday and a dump station. They will be fixing this during 2020- per management.

Cell signals: Decent cellular service for AT&T and Very good T-Mobile service.

They have: Pool Cafe/Bar 1 Hot Tub Mini Golf Volleyball Courts Shuffle Board Club House Mail Room Camp Store Basketball Laundry Shower Houses Kids play room and play area Gym Pool Tables Creek running through the middle

Third visit

Nice campground. Stayed in the back, so pretty quiet. Our third time here. Kids love the ability to ride their Bikes around the campground and love the pool. Plenty of deer to watch throughout the day. Had issues with the laundromat. Could not use my credit card, had to use my card app on my phone. Other than that, I look forward to going here again

Tropical Palms

The campground is 1/4 mile from Old Town. (Kissimmee Fl) There they have bike nights on Thursday evenings. Friday and Saturday evenings have old car shows and cruises. Old Town style shops and music. Lots to see and do up and down 192 and close to Disney. The campground is clean the pool is small for the size campground but nice. The staff is great. They have wild deer’s there to watch and feed. Owned by 1000 trails and Encore so you can use the Trails program there. We camp there often. Really like it.

Easy access to the parks

Great park to stay at if going to the parks. Can even hear the nightly fireworks. Good internet, cable TV, nice pool, remodeled bathhouse with laundry facilities but does have nice big laundry area by the pool. It is a bit pricey but worth it for access to Disney.
