Cottonwood cove

Sites are very close together with very few amenities or shade. View of the lake is blocked by the motel. Only plus is proximity to the water and full hookups

Very clean and quiet. Ill camp here again.

Stayed here 1 night in mid-June. It was very hot- 114 at sun down. It cooled down enough overnight to allow for comfortable sleep.

I was the only one there except for one other tent on the other side of the park. Man-made noise beyond the park was not a problem.

There are a lot of spots, maybe…

Diamond in the Rough

Stumbled upon this gem when trying to get campground (CG) reservations near the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim, but none were to be found. Meadview is near the Grand Canyon West Rim and on the Arizona side of Lake Mead. The drive in from Kingman through Dolan Springs was very interesting and…

Nice and tidy

Arrived to find another guy’s rv blocking most of the entrance. My husband helped him back his huge rig in so we could enter. Envelope waiting with our assigned site. No staff contact was needed. We were able to settle into the reserved pull through site. Sites felt a bit tight/close and lack of…

Easy to get to

We enjoyed our stay here. There are many spots to pull into here that are far enough away from those who are also camping here. There are spots right close to the road where you'll hear the occasional vehicle pass and every so often a train. You can also venture further away from the road and feel…

Second Times the Charm

We loved our stay so much we had to return. The sunsets are just amazing. No services and had to pick up some trash. No fire ring

This is a site that is in a dispersed camping area and is used be OHVs. It is on Buckwash Road off of Highway 68. Before you get to Bullhead City. When you turn off the highway be aware that crossing the cattle guard there is a major hole go driver side hard and you might miss it. There will be a…

Noisy

Dry camped by the water during the week. Pretty spot but very noisy with music and people outside until well after midnight. 10pm quiet time largely ignored and not enforced.

well kept area

so the signs say no camping however it does say you can park for up to 7 days so I'm sure there is not an issue about staying just check with the gate when you pay to get in because you would hate to pay and then it be a total let down when you get there and unpack.

On-site they have vault…

it's in between Katherine landing and telephone cove but they actually have a road called princess cove so as long as you follow the road you will be fine, when everyone keeps driving the main road to go to a nearby boat launch you go right on the tiny road down…
