Glen Canyon Dam Bridge Outlook

Pull off directly next to the road into a large gravel area. Flat. Quiet. Simple. Stunning views both at night and during the day. No services. Would definitely stay here again.

It's not a tent camping spot, but I made it one. Not too much traffic or noise on a Thursday night. A good spot to pull over for the night in a camper.

This spot is perfect for the tired traveler. It is right before or past the Glen Canyon Dam visitor center. The lot is huge and fairly level. A few big rigs were here as well as a few smaller RVS. You can easily walk to the visitor center and up the road there is a 2 mile hike to see some hanging ferns. Views are pretty amazing too. The road noise was not as bad as I thought it would be with the road so close by. Definitely a good stop for the weary traveler.

Great for a quick stop. Looks like it used to extend but the road is blocked Off so you have no other option but to stop by the outlook which can get busy. But there is a mile long trail along the rocky canyon which has great views.

Just a pull off so nothing crazy but cute little spot. Beware, some of the lot is just sand and our van got stuck. You’re right next to a mini canyon so it is fun to explore

Honestly, it would be a 5 star, but the noise can be much if you are a light sleeper.

It is just a night stop, but worth it if you're doing all the stuff in Page.

Walk to the dam, it's really cool to see.

Big wide open parking area next to the bridge. Nothing special, but convenient.

Lotssse of big rigs here. Was a bit surprised! The wind nearly took my 2024 Dodge Ram 2500 out- but I made through the night. Good for a quick pit stop but not private.

This spot is perfect for a night or two in a contained vehicle. There is no bathroom/toilet/etc but it’s relatively quiet for how close to the road it is. Ended up staying a 2nd night bc of how convenient to Page it was. There are tour groups that stop to take pics occasionally, but only during the day.

Perfect primitive overnight spot! It's literally a very large turn out off the highway right on the side of the canyon. So no facilities at all. The town of Page is 3 mins away if you need anything. Lots of room for cars, vans, trucks, SUVs, RVs, even big rigs! I parked here around noon and stayed overnight. There was a couple RVs already there. As the day and evening progressed, several more RVs, Vans, and 2 Big rigs showed up for the night. Even with so many of us, it was surprisingly quiet. Even the big rigs weren't loud. The area is clean too. Everyone follows the "Leave No Trace" principles. You can't pitch a tent but you can sleep in pretty much any vehicle. Enjoy and check out "Brew It" for coffee in the morning. Great coffee, food, and an amazing view from an elevated patio!

It’s a beautiful view and was fairly empty; just three vehicles. It not private spots with fire rings, but it’s about as good as it gets without.

Just a large pull out on the road with great views. I have a good Verizon signal.

Easy spot with a great view. A bit of road noise but nothing ear plugs or white noise can’t fix.

We had a great night there. Traffic wasn’t too noisy and the view was gorgeous in the morning. Beware of the loose sand though! Stay on the gravel area!

Convenient location on the outskirts of Page. It's just a big layby so there's no privacy and you can hear the noise from the road but it did the job for the night

Open spot with plenty of room and nice bridge view. Shared with truckers who leave their engine running all night, so not for light sleepers. Road noise was minimal overnight. No bathroom. No water. Felt safe.

It's this or the Walmart. Share with semis, but great cell.

No one bothered me, I’m in a van, and it was a great space to wake up to! Lots of room, Tmobile worked fine

To add to Katrina's review, the lack of personal space and privacy are what gives this a three star rating. I didn't experience loud traffic on a weekday night, but it is one of the main roads going into town so it should be busy on weekends.

There's plenty of space but you'll most likely be in close proximity to another car or RV. It's an open space when plenty of dog scents so yours can relieve themselves easily.

It's a nice spot when you want to stay close to Lake Powell for early morning activities, but not recommended for a traditional camping experience.

It’s the big empty lot next to the busy road. Watch out for the big sand pit towards the back. Apparently others have gotten stuck in it. Sand spurs are prevalent- so watch your pups!

Pros: Great if you’re stuck in a storm like us and need a place to sleep. Plus it’s free! Cell service for Verizon and AT&T are excellent here. Plus the view of the dam in the morning was nice to wake up to.

Cons: Not great if you are wanting seclusion and privacy. This location is quite loud at night with the traffic.
