1st camping trip

We managed to get a 1st come 1st served spot. Beautiful camp ground and lake, very clean. The host and his wife were very helpful, will definitely go there again.

Family Fun But Peaceful

Nice weather. Very low occupancy. Serene and peaceful with activities for all ages. Hiking, fishing, exploring, wildlife.

Nothing short of amazing!

We loved our stay here.  The site was well maintained and the scenery was perfect.

Lots to do around here!

The campground itself is ok. Fairly large sites, lots of trees. No electricity, but water spigots scattered around. Fort Tuthill County Park is huge with an incredible amount of activities: zip lines, adventure courses, equestrian courses, bike and hiking trails, etc. So the place offers a lot…

Clean but crowded and expensive

Based on previous reviews, I had much higher expectations for this place. It's located in a nicely forested setting, but the layout, at least where my site was located, is weird with huge and tiny sites all jumbled together. Maybe to protect the trees, then it would be ok. We had 20 amp…

No Privacy. Creepers.

The best spots were hidden. I found this to be a strange spot as a woman. Very little prvacy. Several men walked by our site staring at our rig acting strange. When we pulled in we saw three men just sitting at their site staring at women. The road in was too bumpy with many rocks. Some of…

Do not book through Tentrr

This description on Tenterhooks states there are showers, toilets,,, many amenities you find at the Bedrock City Campsite off the highway and not through ANY type of rough terrain. Falsely advertised? Set up? Unsure... DO KNOW ALL AMENITIES ARE FALSE. Just a plot of land. I say this for newcomers…

Great area if you don't mind a little noise

Turning onto FS-222 is probably the worst part of the road that we experienced. Decent gravel with some slight washboard. There are practically infinite camping spots out here, big rigs included.

We had checked out two other sites in the Flagstaff area before landing here. We liked the selection…

comfortable and nice

staff drove by towards the end of the night maybe just to check on everybody. spaces are pretty big so you don’t feel super crammed up. the trees around provide excellent shade. port a potties and shower facilities only in one part of the ground, but easily walkable or driveable.

Great spot

We had a very pleasant experience. Multiple park employees said this campground was their favorite in the area. We enjoyed exploring further down Oak Creek - there’s a small pond the further you walk along it. It was very busy, however, and not quiet. Lots of kids crying and at night, a bunch of…

Clean and quiet

There is a tent only area with five spots. Two of them are first come first serve, so I lucked out on a late Saturday morning and grabbed one. The area is very clean, paved roads, concrete picnic tables, tent pads and campground hosts that are out and about pretty much the whole day and very…
