Very quiet

Level gravel sites and pleasant oleander trees throughout the area. Sites are clean. Laundry, showers and bathrooms are clean. Nice big pool. They also sell propane.

Nice but a little dirty

If you are going to go to Cochise Stronghold I would recommend this house. It has an amazing historic past and is so close to hiking trails. But we did have a mouse in the house and no cell service, so that is why I gave it 4 stars

Primitive Camp in a Parking Lot

The campsite is a single fire ring in an unpaved parking lot about 100’ from the road which has moderate traffic. It’s free, and if you’re needing a spot to camp for the night, this might be for you. I visited in August so decided to opt for a motel room instead since the heat was well over 100.…

Great State Park!

We stayed at this State park on 12/27/2020.  We were not able to visit the caverns as all tickets had been sold when we arrived in the morning!  Plan ahead and purchase tickets in advance online.  The RV park was fantastic.  Our site was W/E with a dump on exit.  The site was level with a asphalt…

Patagonia lake

Campsites are a little close together. Not much shade so you have to be real familiar with the campsite to pick the perfect spot with shade trees and lake views. At the time we went the sewage dumping station was closed. They do now have a small market across from the beach for certain supplies.…

Totally solid campsite, free so the price is right!

I pulled in pretty late at night, so wasn't sure what to expect. Nice big campsites, not a lot of privacy though. Almost all of them have mesquite trees with lots of dead branches that you are allowed to collect for firewood, which is super helpful!

This is an old cattle ranch, so it's pretty…

Perfect tent camping spot

This sky island campground in Mt Lemmon is perfect for a quick weekend getaway from Tucson. The weather here is 10-15 degrees cooler than the city. This campground is small, with tent sites tucked away between pine trees. A vaulted bathroom is at the center of the parking lot.

Great Idea 💡

It is just an empty field with a box with envelopes for you to leave your $10 a night in. There were spots where it looked like they had a fire but I don't think that's allowed out here since there's such a fire danger. But this is a good idea if you're in a pinch you can't find a place to stay.
