GuideHere's a place to drop anchor when it's been a long day of driving. For $25 bucks (July 2026) you get a level site, electrical power and water. And, you get access to a black tank dump as you leave. The surrounding park grounds are wonderful to stroll in the cool of the evening to get rid of that "been sitting & driving all day" blues. Torrington the town offers services & food. When it's time to stop, this place offers the solice needed.

ScoutSites are reasonbly spaced apart yet close. It was quiet during our stay with most indoors due to the heat. Pretty views of the plains. Town center is a mile walk/ ride away. What I didn’t like is how the picnic table and firepit is on the road, about a truck length in. Also their mowing of the lawn at 8AM within less that 5 feet of our trailer so overall we would not stay here again.

We probably had the smallest camp site in the entire camp, but it was still large enough for our van, a canopy, the picnic table and bear box plus some.
The rangers will drive around and make sure your scented items are placed in the bear boxes— there is a grizzly bear in the area, but we were told she doesn’t visit the campgrounds as often as she used to.
