Great gem of a campground

Was surprised how nice and serene this cg is. 82+ sites and two cg hosts but does not have that constant drive thru of desperate campers. $18/$9 nite. Flush toilets, water spigots at restrooms, trash dumpsters. No elect or sewer hookups. Large cottonwood trees for shade.

Be on the Lookout for Wild Horses

This area is located directly in the middle of the Wild Horse area of Northwest Colorado. This seems to be the place to ride dirt bikes or do some mountain biking.

This is easy to find location since there is a large sign right off the road and there is TONS of space for camping.

We…

Vernal, UT

Lots of activities for families (pool, play area), small dog area, clean restrooms, staff was very friendly. We had some vehicle troubles and the guy lent us a few tools we didn’t have and checked on us to see how it was going. Lots of things to do in the area and is close to Dinosaur NM. Also has…

Peaceful beauty.

We were on the Wyoming side not too far the Buckboard Marina . About a 15 min. drive. We have a 30 ft class A RV and we tow a jeep. We parked at the marina and took the jeep to scout out a site. The " roads" are just dirt, some in better shape than others. So it was easier to be able to pick…

Only $10 for electric and a free hot shower

This is a large fairgrounds parking lot that has a delightful camp host who lives on site. It was a great spot to wait out a snow storm. All gravel and right in town.

Easy place to crash between Denver and Jackson Hole WY

We just needed a quick place to crash on the way from Denver to Jackson Hole Wy area.  We didn't want to make the full drive at once since we needed to set up a campsite when we got there, so we stopped here.

It had snowed the night before and it was cold.  However, the fences protect the…

The Old Guy Is An ass

I arrived here around 7:50pm . There were a lot of empty spaces to camp but the old & grumpy guy didn’t allowed me to camp here.

I wouldn’t recommend it. Go to “Fossil Valley Rv park & self . It’s like 6min away.

A great place to stay

Only stayed one night, but would stay longer Pool, laundry open 24 hours, level gravel pads, 2 picnic tables, cable and wifi was sketchy, plenty of room between rvs. Close to shopping , restaurants, and tourist places.

Amazing Dispersed Camping

Dispersed camping on the Wyoming side is practically on a desert oasis so bring plenty of shade. Be prepared for a bit of noise from the ATVs, some dust, and a bit of fire ants during the day. Trust me, it's still so worth it. Spend both days there in the water. This rec area is amazing! Almost…

Get a spot with trees by the River.

Some pull thru sites, dry camping, clean restrooms. Overall a nice campground with great hosts. Very hot in August.

Desert Gem

It might be right off the freeway in the middle of Wyoming sparseness but it was a pleasure to stay here for the night. Clean facilities and bathroom, laundry room, exercise room. We stayed at a deluxe spot with a concrete pad and privacy fence. Staff was kind and very helpful. Good stop when you…

Very cool spot

Great little campground in Dinosaur National Park. Not much privacy between sites  but people were very respectful. 2 second walk to gorgeous Green River. Plan on spending time by the water. Hot days but  Nights cooled off. Bring bug spray and chose a shady site.
