Nice place...but NOISY

Sites were perfect for our overnight needs, but there were a ton of vehicles, dirt bikes, runners and we were woken up at midnight by explosions. I'm assuming they were kids down the road drinking and having fun, but they were setting off mortars at midnight on a Wednesday. Great location, but the…

Great campground

Great place in rural Wyoming. In town of Kemmerer close to several lakes. Convenient to amenities as well as nature in rural Wyoming.

Cozy and comfortable

Sunrise Campground sites are immersed in trees to give you a surrounding cozy and comfortable feeling. Back in sites include a fire ring and sturdy picnic table... Not sure about the pull-thru sites.

For site 15, the sunrise peeked thru the trees into my tent. As I got going, I walked around the…

Campground

Pulled into this campground on memorial day afternoon. We had the whole place to ourselves. There are some improvements being made. There are a number of small streams running through the campground making things a little wet. If you have an RV the asphalt drives are not very even. Still a…

Couldn’t believe there were still open sites

About 15 mins outside of Logan up a beautiful canyon. Headed up around 4pm on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend so didn’t have high hopes but found a spot with a fire ring almost immediately! There was also another spot open down the road. Lots of people camping, hiking, mountain biking, and…

BLM Campground

The other reviews say it very well. This is an open desert campground that could use a little TLC. But there are toilets and Ramada’s to break the wind. Lots of wildlife. Can’t beat the price.

Beautiful area

This was a top notch camp ground. They are going through a major upgrade. Many tiny homes, spots with private hot tubs and fenced in yards, great of you have a dog!! Nice grass dog park. ACS hardware and a full grocery store next door.

  • these are some of the new sites
  • more improvements

Need high clearance

This site is incredible. It’s gorgeous however in my equinox I had to drive half on the edge of the road because the dirt road into the area where other tires go was so deep. There is no cell service at all ATT wise, my onstar WiFi wouldn’t even connect. It’s just one big open field.

Easy to get to and basic

We just needed a place to stop for the night. This had a pit toilet which wasn’t bad. My husband fished the creeks and we saw a ton of fish. FS said it was closed but there was no gate and others campers so we gave it a shot. Glad we did. The little lake across the street was awesome to catch and…

Perfect for a Weekend Trip

The campground is very nice, shady, and clean. It's close to really anything you're wanting to do.. fishing, hiking, exploring the canyon, going to Bear Lake. The only cons, in my opinion, are that it's right by the highway so it can get very loud and it's a smaller campground so the sites are…

Perfect Spring/Early Summer Camping

We have camped here almost every year and it's amazing every time. The wildflowers are beautiful but once it hits late June they are usually gone. The campsites are great. They are close together but it doesn't feel like it because there are so many trees and the creek that runs through the…

Nice and Quiet

Nice little campground with plenty of space between campsites.  Kids and dogs had fun playing in the nearby creek (water is very cold), with lots of great hiking opportunities.

I had no problems pulling my 26' TT into here, but I don't know if I would attempt to bring anything in much larger than…

  • Lots of open space.
  • Cobble Creek. You drive through this creek to get to the campground.

Beautiful location, no amenities

Gorgeous location right next to the lake. It was very quiet and open. We were the only campers there!

No shade or amenities where we stayed. There was lots of room to play around with the dog.
