Good Campround....lots of room

Noise complaints are common. It is one of just a few campgrounds with facilities in the Casper area, so parties do happen often. My advice, avoid weekends if possible, and go in the Spring and Fall, avoid summer. Less people, less bugs, and just overall much more enjoyable. Bathrooms are always…

Wyoming diamond

Buffalo Creek Campground is a couple miles down the road from Graves Spring Campground. They both boast the same amenities (fire pits, picnic tables, trash, restroom, creek access, and wildlife). However, Buffalo Creek has half the sites- so, it is more intimate. There is great fishing within 11…

Gorgeous! Well maintained! Free!

Grave springs boasts over 10 sites with picnic tables, fire pits, restrooms, and trash. The scenery is unbelievable. Dark sky's at night reveal the milky way. Wildlife include fox, racoons, squirrels, skunk, elk, deer and fish! The creek runs through the campground. Close by are amazing scramble…

Enjoyed this nice spot close to Casper

It feels like a municipal campground close to a town, so I was worried about rowdy weekend activities. There was some loud music for an hour or so, but it was just a wedding at one of the pavilions, so hard to be too upset about that.

Some great views and the sites were spaced pretty well. Not…

Great place to go

Buffalo Creek Campground is nestled in the southern Big Horns. Beautiful location. Small with only five sites, which is perfect. The sites all have fire pits with grills over them, picnic tables as well. A beautiful stream passes through the campground. For a night in the Big Horns, this…

A parking lot

People were very friendly and the site/facilities are clean. There is a play area for kids and laundry. That’s about all it has going for it. Otherwise it is basically a crowded parking lot. If you just need a spot to crash , or will be staying inside your RV, it will do. Oh, and the tent area is…

Not to bad

This is my second time staying here, it’s not bad. Definitely windy and there are few spots with trees but not really. The water is great especially if you have a boat, or paddle board. The big negative to me is the bathroom situation there really far away for some spots. But all in all it’s good…

Loud

Don’t understand the need to blast music throughout the campsites. Multiple house parties up here. Trees were carved up with initials...did not feel aligned with this place seems more like a place to party than appreciate nature....

Beautiful campground away from it all!

Quiet, beautiful and secluded. The campground has vault toilets which actually have toilet paper! The trails surrounding the campground are relatively level. The drive to the campground has several miles of dirt road, but 4x4 is not required.

Clean and safe

I was in a bind and needed a place to stay for the night. They squeezed me so I had a safe comfortable place to sleep. Not the prettiest location but convenient and on the River.
