Nice quaint place. Manager hard to get ahold of but never really needed for much. Close to eateries and shopping
Really quite and peaceful, absolutely loved it. Will go back for sure. A river runs through the camp ground.

Spots are clearly marked and free to camp. I drive a scion tc and had no trouble driving in.
The road from the main highway is paved for most the way. Very beautiful. I’m not sure if we stayed in this spot directly, but we found a camp along side the road and it was great. The stream ran through our camp and the trees were situated perfectly for parking the van. Forest fires have burnt…
We have a cabin at the top that we can't get too from October - July(ish) so we stay at Little Cottonwood when can't get to the top. We love staying here! The campground is small, only 14 sites but the best part is the creek that runs down the entire mountain and right through the campsite. The…
I've camped here a few times and it is always great. They have a huge grassy area out front to pitch tents, a few pull-through sites for RVs and in the back, there are permanent RVs set up. They have VERY clean bathrooms with showers. There is a restaurant on site that has the best homemade…

We pitched our tent right near the creek. Beautiful spot with some seclusion. We only stayed one night but it was awesome. Would definitely come back. Sad I don't have any photos, but it was beautiful & peaceful!
Stayed here Monday 4/12 and we had the place to ourselves. Still some snow patches but the daytime temp was very pleasant! The water was shut off which was a bummer, but the campground is so beautiful! It’s pack in pack out, so take your trash with you.

We stayed here to get in some MTB riding. The park is conveniently located whether you want to ride the East or West side/s of Cedar City. The park is clean, mostly level, and has a nice dog park. Our site was near the entrance, which meant we were close to Main St and quite a bit of traffic…
The pre made camping areas are nice. Fire pit, picnic tables and the restrooms are close by...if that's what you call camping. Otherwise, there is a lot of areas to find a spot and pitch a tent. Do be aware of the off road trails and mountain bike trails.

Plenty of room to camp...if you can find a road in. Coal creek is fed by snow melt and dosen't always run all year long. This can be a great spot..if your lucky.
Plenty of room to camp. Lots of tourists in the summer.. expect lots of side by sides and atvs.
Easy to miss pulloff and extremely rough road. I was able to get a 24ft class C up and off the road a bit but was definitely nerve racking. Didn't look like there were more than 2 or 3 spots but we didn't go too far back because of the road.
Nice little RV spot with campsites as well. We stayed one night and it was $27/night.
There’s hot showers and bathrooms ( heater inside) which were nice and clean.
Also, a perk is that there is a mexican restaurant on site that’s been open for 30 years.
Campsites have a little picnic table;…
Easy to get to. Nobody there. Beautiful area. Lots of spots to park and they’re clearly marked. Stone fire pits at sites. Beautiful stream runs thru a few sites! Very peaceful.
