Paria Station Camping

Accessible via a dirt road near the Paria Contact Station, this free BLM dispersed camping area provides multiple camping zones across varied terrain. Campers can choose from a cleared area visible shortly after the first right turn, or continue up a steeper hill to the left for elevated sites with expansive views across the valley and distant rock formations. The Contact Station offers a free water pump for filling jugs, though no hose attachments are available, plus a dumpster for waste disposal. Sites closer to the highway require less driving on steep roads, while those seeking more space and elevated positions can access additional camping areas farther up the hill. This setup works well for RVs and tent campers comfortable with basic dispersed camping conditions.

Lots of space and gorgeous view

When you pull in towards the Paria Contact Station, make the first right. After a minute you'll see a cleared area towards the right with some free camping. We chose to drive further down the road and up the hill that veers to the left, and there was a ton of space and gorgeous views of the valley and rock formations in the distance. There's also a free water pump by the Paria Contact Station to fill up water jugs (no attachment for hoses at the time) and a dumpster for garbage.

Beautiful views

We parked in the lot closest to the highway but there are more sites farther up a steep road.
