Showers & CleanCampgeound

We came when sites were first come, first served. Found a nice site with asphalt pad and shaded fire pit and table. Weren’t expecting private showers. We’re pleasantly surprised. Also, water available across from our site (#2). Enjoyed dam visitor center, watching fly fishermen as we hiked the…

Great Base to Explore the Area

Access to the park was easy as was check in. The camp hosts were super nice and very accommodating during our three night’s stay. We proceeded backwards through the campground as instructed to pull through site 8, which is FHUs and 50 AMP. We had to maneuver our 39’ fifth wheel so the utilities…

What a hidden gem!

This place was awesome. I stayed for 4 nights & had the place to myself for 3 nights. There’s 3 miles of road you can disperse camp off of. If you drive 1.5 miles in, thought toilets were added in a really nice area on your left. I stayed there and there was ample room for 10+ rigs & lots…

Mustang Ridge site 26

Site 26 is great as it is a short walk down to the cove for swimming and kayaking.

Great 360 Views

Drove in at night. Don’t take 318 from CO and into Utah in the dark. Lesson learned.

Nice quiet place to spend the night, can see stars if the weather is good. Decently flat ground, beach is rocky but clean where we parked (we parked just off the road before the beach).

Would not recommend…

Pretty Run Down

This campground is just a big gravel lot with hook ups spaced throughout. It is very close to Dinosaur National Monument Quarry Wall which is why we chose it. However, we would not come back. P.S. coin-operated showers.

Very clean and spacious site

Arrived around 1:30 pm without reservations on Saturday August 21st and they had several spots available. We choose space #5 and it was $30 for the night. Would definitely stay here again as it was a beautiful spot, clean, quiet with lots of space from others.

Easy access big sites

Gravel lots with green grass. Quiet neighborhood. Minimal road noise. Typical amenities that a KOA has. We would stay here again.

Great View

Right on the edge, there are 3 tenting sites within 50 ft of the side of the cliff, 8,9, and 10. Definitely the best spots. Otherwise there are several spots scattered around the area just not with a great view. Each site has picnic table and a fire pit with bathrooms in walking distance.

Secluded dispersed camping

This dispersed camping area is free and is along FS road #049 into Greens Draw area. Area is shielded from hwy 191 noise. However it has a strong ATT cell signal (no Verizon or TMobile). No toilets, tables or metal fire rings. No dumpsters. No water. True boondocking.

Nice group camp with a view

Nice large area in the trees on edge of a large open meadow grassy area. Signs note only two group areas but one in center seems to have all the shade and the tables. Two vault toilets and a hand crank pump for water..but pump seems to be now working well. No trash dumpsters and no cell signal.…
