Hurricane Cliffs BLM Dispersed #36-37

Designated fire rings at each site set the tone at Hurricane Cliffs BLM Dispersed #36-37, a free, established dispersed area outside Virgin that draws campers looking to avoid the crowded paid sites near Zion National Park. The sites are tucked into old borrow pit features, giving the area a slightly sunken, sheltered character. No bathrooms are on-site. Bring your own firewood.

Site layout here is a bit loose. Reviewers note it can be unclear which spots are designated and which are just open ground, so campers sometimes spread out wherever looks reasonable. That said, the designated sites do have fire pits and level ground, and the spacing between them tends to be generous enough that neighbors are rarely close. Access is car-friendly and manageable for RVs as well as tent campers. Cell service is available, and alcohol is permitted.
