Panguitch Lake Adventure Resort

A fishing lake in the North Creek Lakes area. The Department of Wildlife Resourses of Utah (DWR) stocks this lake with Brook Trout. Other fishing lakes near Upper Barker Reservoir are Flat Lake , Yellow Lake , Joe Lay Reservoir , Blue Lake , Lower Barker Reservoir , and Dougherty Basin . Paria  River Ranch offers world class trails and some of the most unique riding in the Paria Canyon, Vermillion Cliffs and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Paria River Ranch

Pine Lake Campground is located next to its scenic namesake lake high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 8,100 feet. Pine Lake Camp visitors enjoy canoeing, fishing and exploring local hiking and off-road vehicle trails. Recreation A short trail leads from the campground to Pine Lake, which offers excellent canoeing and kayaking, as well as fishing for rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout. Hiking and off-road vehicle trails are plentiful within the area, however off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground. The Pine Lake OHV Trailhead is located adjacent to the campground. A loading ramp is provided. Facilities The campground offers four group sites and 17 family sites. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. A well-maintained gravel road leads to the campground, providing good access for cars and RVs alike. Natural Features Pine Lake is situated at the foot of beautifully forested peaks banded with red and white layers of sandstone. The campground is nestled among a forest of spruce and towering ponderosa pines, and is adjacent to Pine Lake. Nearby Attractions Bryce Canyon National Park is approximately 30 minutes from the campground, offering breathtaking scenery and excellent hiking opportunities. Kodachrome Basin State Park is an hour away, with towering rock spires, a natural arch and great hiking trails. ADA Access: N

You will find our RV park is in a beautiful quiet setting away from the busy populated areas with Bryce canyon only a short drive away.

We have a special unique separated area for our Equine Camping Guests on the property that has 30 RV sites which are 65' x 30' back in and pull thru. 45' x 30' back in and pull thru. With Equine facilities near large Cottonwood trees. The Equine Camp area has its own group site fire pits for gathering with friends as this is a very private beautiful area.



Bryce Valley Ranch RV and Horse Park

This small campground with only four sites provides easy access to Thunder MountainTrailhead. This trail is a very popular hiking, biking, horseback riding trail. Anyone can stay in this campground; there is no condition that you must have a horse. This quaint little campground sits in ponderosa pine forests on the beautiful Paunsaugunt plateau with easy access to many sightseeing locations and trail systems. Coyote Hollow Equestrian Campground

Surrounded by some of Utah’s most popular national parks, Kodachrome Basin State Park is a land of redrock cliffs and spires, under wide-open skies, where you can enjoy spectacular canyon country scenery—without the national park crowds. The park derives its peculiar name from the landscape’s striking contrasts in color, which—at the time of its naming in 1949—was synonymous with Kodak’s high-contrast photography film (before digital took over). The park is approximately 160 miles east of St. George, and is sandwiched between Bryce Canyon to the west, and Grand Staircase–Escalante to the east. As with most of Utah’s canyon country destinations, sun and heat are ample, water and shade are scarce, and summer thunderstorms are common. 

 With 54 drive-in campsites in three small campgrounds, Kodachrome Basin is ideal for RV, trailer and tent campers. Basin Campground is the largest of the three, with 37 standard and full-hookup sites—as well as great views. This location offers water faucets, flush toilets and showers. Bryce View Campground has 11 standard sites with tables, fire rings, and also has impressive views. This campground offers water and vault toilets. The Arch Campground is located on a gravel road and has 6 sites with tables and fire rings. This smaller site has water and vault toilets. RVs and trailers must be under 25 feet to access this location. There is one tent-only group campsite. Seasonal campsite rates range from $20–$30/night; reservations accepted for some sites; generator hours are limited to 12noon – 4pm.

 To tour Kodachrome Basin is to travel back in time, as the roots of the park’s sculpted cliffs, pipes and spires are more than 180 million years old. Observing the rock formations’ colorful layers tells a dramatic story of how the land changed over time—including when the area was covered by a vast, inland sea. The best way to see the basin is by taking a hike on one of the park’s five trails. These range from a barrier-free, 0.5-mile interpretive trail to the more moderate—and spectacularly scenic—6-mile Panorama Trail. If you don’t feel like hoofing it yourself, you can let a horse hoof it for you. Red Canyon Trail Rides offers family-friendly guided horseback rides on the Panorama Trail, where you can enjoy the canyon scenery from the comfort of a saddle. Mountain biking and horseback riding is permitted on some trails.

## Overview

Barker Recreation Area is located high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 9,300 feet. Visitors enjoy canoeing, fishing and exploring local trails. 

## Recreation

Upper Barker Reservoir provides canoeing, kayaking and fishing for rainbow and brook trout. Numerous hiking, biking and horse trails can be accessed from both the Upper and Lower Barker Reservoir trailheads. Trails, including the non-motorized Great Western Trail, lead to nine backcountry fishing lakes and beautiful mountain views. The area also has excellent stream fishing and spectacular fall colors. 

## Facilities

This recreation area contains 13 single-family sites, three group campsites and a day-use area. Horses are permitted in the Porter group site.   
  
Drinking water is provided from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Amenities include accessible vault toilets and bear-proof food storage lockers. Fishing docks are located at Upper and Lower Barker Reservoirs. Roads and parking spurs are gravel.

A dense canopy of aspen and spruce trees forests Barker Recreation Area. Summer wildflowers are plentiful and a variety of wildlife frequents the area, including black bear, blue grouse, golden eagle, ducks and wild turkey.

Both the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park are located approximately 45 minutes away. Sightseeing along Utah Highway 12, a National Scenic Byway, is very popular. Travelers visit from every corner of the world to see the stunning red rock canyons and desert landscapes.

Posey Lake Campground is located next to its beautiful namesake lake high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 8,800 feet. Visitors enjoy canoeing, fishing and exploring local trails. Natural Features: The campground is situated on a hillside above Posey Lake. A scenic forest of towering ponderosa pines covers the area. Clusters of aspens dot the landscape and summer wildflowers are abundant. Recreation: Posey Lake offers rainbow and brook trout fishing, canoeing, kayaking and non-motorized boating. Two hiking trails begin at the campground. The Posey Overlook Trail is a mile long and leads to a beautiful overlook. The Posey Spur Trail connects the campground to the Great Western Trail, which provides excellent hiking and mountain biking. Facilities: The campground contains 21 single-family sites and one group site for up to 35 people. Drinking water is provided from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Facilities at this campground include accessible vault toilets, a fish cleaning station and two fishing docks. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Nearby Attractions: Posey Lake offers a cool escape from the surrounding desert landscape and is often used as a base to explore the surrounding region. The Escalante area of southern Utah offers breathtaking scenery nearly everywhere you look. Sightseeing along Forest Road 153 (Hells Backbone) and Utah Highway 12, a National All American Highway, is very popular.
