This camp ground was great. We tent camped by the water in section 3 and had the whole site to our self. The lake was nice to canoe on and had a beautiful view of the sunset.
The bathrooms were to far to walk so we had to drive to them ever time and there were no showers so this was a…

The other reviews sum up the area around the cg, so I thought I'd share an opinion of the cg itself. The pads are level concrete with a gravel patio area, a metal picnic table, a nice fire ring and a lantern pole. The front gate locks at 8:30 but they give you a pass code to get in with. Verizon…

The campgrounds are very clean and quiet. Everyone has been so friendly. Bathrooms are spacious and well kept. We were in spot 11. There is a nice amount of trees and greenery, but zero view of the water. Unless you go 6 or more sites down to the boat ramp and circle back down the ramp, there…

Very nice place
This is a gorgeous place to camp. We did tent camping this pass week. Our camp site was right by the water an absolutely gorgeous view to wake up to. I will definitely come back. The only draw back was the winds, they were so strong they shattered our tent poles. So i would recommend to definitely…
This place was terrible. We stayed for a month because of the cost but won’t return. The ants were constant, no matter how often I’d try to get rid of them. We also took our trailer in for maintenance or a few days and learned that the owner rented out our spot while we were gone. We paid in full…
This is a nice campground with spacious sites right on the lake with covered picnic tables. The park has many miles of mountain bike and hiking trails. The one downside is that the sites do not have decent sized trees so I expect this would not be a great place to stay in the middle of summer.

I stayed there for 3 months in my 24 foot motorhome. They usually have a waiting list. Very nice park with mostly permanent residents. Lots of trees. River access. Bathrooms with showers, laundry room, fenced dog park, common areas with rec room, huge grassy area.
This is a beautiful, well maintained and very clean park. We were a little concerned about camping here in July with no shade. The breeze off the lake really helped make the 100 degree days better. The water is crystal clear, so we just went down and hopped in the water when it got to hot. We also…
6 boondocking sites on the lake with waterless restrooms, trash dumpster, boat ramp, and tons of wildlife, the non invasive kind, ie, dear, water fowl, squirrel, fish, and otter.
This is our go to weekend getaway. The spots are immaculate. Everything in the camping area is new. Large well developed campsites with plenty of room between. I do wish that the old area down by the river could be restored from the floods. This area is closed and in the old days it was the heart…
Great spot, clean and quiet.
Pros: Beautiful lake views, lots of space between sites.
Cons: Dump station is at entrance of park and park is fairly large to haul a portable dump tank.
10 acres in the Texas hill country. Located minutes from Burnet and Lampasas. Highly wooded and secluded with great hill country views. If you are up for a relaxing getaway and getting back in touch with mother nature, this is the spot.
Clean and quiet. I probably wouldn’t stop here again tent camping in the winter. Random windstorm 30mph no way really to block it. I felt like it was more of an RV park. Plenty of deer and pretty view of the lake. Clean restrooms.
Loved this park! The RV sites were nicely spaced, though on my RV the windows side of the rig faced the road rather than the lovely view in order to easily reach the hookups. Busy over the weekend, but just a few hardy folks during the week.
Not a lot of trails; mostly just views. Large…
