Nice stop

Very friendly family run campground. Very clean and well landscaped complete with a pavilion and plenty of grills.

Try another place

These sites are right on top of each other. We had limited space and literally had people next to us that were so loud. The laundry was closed, a park was closed, jumping pillow was deflated, and activities were canceled. We were very disappointed and wish we would have found another place.

Perfect Getaway!

Glampknox is located in Knoxville, close to downtown and The Smoky Mountains. The area is rural and beautiful, and the views from the site are wonderful, and the location is very convenient!

The property has a beautiful cabin that is also available to rent, as well as a wedding/event barn…

One of My Absolute Favorites!

I highly recommend this glamping spot. It could not be more perfect. This spot is new, and the set up is awesome. Perched on top of a hill, the site has great sunrise views. The glamping tent is very high quality, with a covered porch, two comfy beds, and a wood-burning stove, so camping is…

Extremely packed

I have it three instead of two simply because they have numerous activities (we didn’t have time to participate) and the location is convenient. This will not be a campground we return to though. They insisted that I have them help back in, but sent someone that was his first day on the job, I…

Not what we remembered

This was our second stay. It was not as great of a stay as it was in 2018. They have cleared out a lot of the old permanent campers but still have some full timers. Thankfully they are in one section separate from tourists. The sites are small and cramped. Great if you are just parking your…

Quiet, Beautiful, and tons of Amenities

Very beautiful place!! Our campsite was on the bank of the river with a fire pit and very level soft ground. About half a mile from a nice little gas station and a KFC s well, which is nice for ice trips or chicken runs. The owner is extremely friendly, kind, considerate, and I will most definitely…

Isolation

If you are trying to find your own quiet spot Chuck Swan has you covered. Lots to explore here, beaches, hi clearance roads(Jeep roads), caves, old cemeteries, rocks to jump off into the lake, and an old fire tower you can climb for what I would expect is a great view. This place was great and…

Wonderful

Tent camped for a weekend to hike Devil’s bathtub. Campgrounds were well kept. We had water and electric at our site. Fire ring and table. Level gravel tent pad. Bathhouse very clean. We hiked down to the tunnel. Beautiful. The chair lift was running and the kids loved that. (We rode just for fun)…

ALONE

If you like primitive camping out in the middle of nowhere with a view, this is a place for you!

Chuck Swan State Forest is just that , a Forest, nothing more. There are two camping areas that are FREE. Realize this is a sport hunting/fishing kind of place and forestry run area. Which means tree…
