Family oriented and extended stay options

Used to be a KOA park turned independent. The campground is introducing "Glamping sites" along with their cabin rentals and RV sites. The manager and staff have been great with accommodations. The campground is family-oriented, quiet at night, and offers activities on the weekends and holidays. Though stated in Goodlettsville, it is in Millersville proper. For restaurants and grocery runs, take I-65 South to exit 97. Of course, you have the Nashville scene, but check out Mansker’s Station for some rich history of true pioneer spirit. Opryland and Downtown Nashville are about 20 minutes away, respectively.

Great quick stop

Rolled in right at office closing time after a rough day. Camp host was so sweet and helpful. Not super fancy but you can tell there are lots of new additions, updates and great care of the sites.

We would come back

Friendly, helpful staff. Sites were nice and roomy. Clean laundry room (open 24 hrs). We used their shuttle service into Nashville. There is a lot of traffic noise, but that didn't bother us as it may others.

KOA North Nashville

Not super impressed with the grounds and the noise level, but everything else is great. The highway is really noisy, and the spot we got was full of really harsh gravel and rocks. The wifi is really spotty and kicks you off every 2-3 minutes. The showers are really clean and nice, there is laundry, and the pool is small but clean! Personally I think it’s overpriced for what you get. The weekend looks like they have fun activities and music going on, but we were here on a Monday/Tuesday. There is a shuttle to downtown which was awesome, and the camp hosts were really friendly and helpful!

City Outskirts campground

Nice little spot, freeway right behind the park and can hear cars all day/night. Internet was down when we got here and cell signal is hit and miss on all 3 Carriers (Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile). Delivery of anything is challenging for the drivers for some reason. Overall the facility it self is up-kept and clean. Good place for short term but look for better long term options.

Great Way to Explore Nashville

Nashville North KOA is a well developed park with large level sites. It has conveinient access to I65 and Highway 31W.

They have 30/50amp full service hookups and Cabins.

One of the coolest deals is the local winery deals while staying there. They have a laundry center, store, new playground, pool, dog play area (Kamp K9), checkers, ladderball, and shuffleboard. Restrooms are available, ice and firewood for sale.

Cellular signals were good for AT&T and TMobile, we were able to work and stream.

Fun events and dinner/music festivals every weekend April-October! They have long-term rates for $600/month.

Tight

For a KOA in town it is ok, the spots are close together, had a back in site which as described was close to a creek, but no mention of the highway right behind the creek. Seems a lot of long term campers. Everything worked just fine, did not use any of the amenities (it’s the COVID summer after all) so cannot say much. Cool tiny home was parked 2 spots down!

Nice Campground

Comfortable campsite. Adequate power and water pressure. Swimming pool was very busy and well maintained. Level gravel sites and bath house very clean. Busy campground but everything quietened down after 10 pm.

Very Noisy and Expensive

Listen to the warnings in the reviews of this campsite. If you are tenting don’t expect to sleep well. I didn’t listen to the cautions and regretted it all night. We picked this campground because the website said they offered a shuttle service to the DT. When I asked the women at the counter (who were very nice) it appeared they had forgotten the website said that quickly said they weren’t offering it that day (it was a Friday). We were then charged 42 dollars for our tent site, we should have just turned around and got an Air B&B at that point. The showers were nice and the wifi connection was good however.

Love your neighbor

The sites are very very close together.  Very very noisy due to the highway that runs right on the other side of the tree line.   But... the folks running the show are really nice.

Not a quiet stay

Sites are very close together. Not much room between my rv and neighbor. The website shows a creek but it’s more of a storm water runoff. Noisy due to the highway that is very close. Great sounds of the trucks to keep you awake. Not much space to maneuver when you leave, thanks for putting the dumpster right next to the road
