It was fine. Site 50 and 27 are great. Site 111 in overflow was not good. Had to move. Very tilted.

Beautiful shaded lots, with great hiking trails, lake, and more.  Only stayed one night, would like to come back and spend a few days.  Very clean, great stop!

Overnight stay. One of the nicest state parks we’ve been to. Heavily wooded lots of shade. Not all sites have sewer hookups. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at #86 which was off the main campground overlooking the lake. The site was perfect for our 23 ft RV but pay attention to the site size as some RVs had issues getting their larger RVs in their sites with the road/site layout. Overall we loved the campground and view of the water. The only negative about our site would be traffic noise from the nearby bridge.

We got a great spot where we could see the lake & no one next to us. It’s a great campground.

Our second visit here. The first was in April 2020 with COVID restrictions in place. All the loop roads have new asphalt, but the sites are still in various states of needing repair. The “A” loop sites are right along the “main” road and would not feel to private. We stayed in the “B” loop which provided less through traffic. Electric and water to the site worked well. Verizon signal was coming in with 5G. Dis not use the bathhouse, so can’t comment on their condition. We have family in the area and this State Park makes for a useful place to stay.

We love this little get away not far from home! It would get a 5 star but some of the spots are a little rough and un level but other than that we love this campground!

If you have littles this park has one of the coolest playgrounds that is huge and has a little creek running beside it too.

We had a change of plans and made reservations at Warrior Path State Park on a whim - and are VERY glad we did. The campground is basically on top of a ridge surrounded by Fort Patrick Henry Lake which is more like a big river. The ridge sites are positioned to maximize space for RV’s and each site includes water and electric hookups. Carefully choose your site to accommodate your RV/trailer and the tow vehicle as some sites are just big enough for the RV if it’s too long. The area is beautiful and quite close to Kingsport and all the amenities like Food City (several locations), Walmart, Kroger and lots of restaurants. IMPORTANT! When you make reservations you’ll receive a welcome email with driving instructions indicating to NOT follow Google or Apple Maps as you’ll be taken through a resident area that isn’t RV friendly.

Brought our family here for the end of spring break and had a blast. The kids loved riding thir bikes and scooters on the paved road through the park. My son and I enjoyed a round of disk golf while my wife and daughters made use of their awesome playground. We only did one hike, however, there are multiple trails to make use of in the park. The only thing keeping me from giving this park a 5* review was the bath houses. While they are most definitely adequate there were few out of order making it difficult to get in to shower.

We spent Thanksgiving here! Loved it! Was a little chilly out but the kids still played jumping in leaf piles. This is a great place to camp. Everyone is super friendly and helpful for what you need. I camped here in my way younger years with my mom and dad and always enjoyed it. In the warm seasons they have a ranger that comes around and even little events for kids. I remember picking apart an owl pellet with the ranger. Very outdoor educational. Note: My 5th wheel is 43' and I got it in to one of their 40' sites.

We pulled in around midnight and we’re thankful that the gate was still open. Even after calling and making sure we would be able to access the site sometimes it’s still nerve wrecking. The signs were easy to follow. Hooking up to our water and amp was super simple and easy. The dump station was clean and easy to use. One of the best night sleeps we’ve had in a while.

A nice campground, although not the place to go if you’re looking for a “middle of nowhere” site. Quiet during our stay in the middle of the week, although a lot of coming ans going. Several amenities available, and close to Walmart, gas stations, etc. Bathrooms were relatively clean, hot showers were clean.

Really nice facility near town. There are a lot of uneven campsites, so bring your leveling blocks. That said, great campground. The facilities were clean, the park was well kept and the train whistles were far enough away that they didn’t interrupt your sleep! No real hiking but there was boat access to the lake. It’s a good spot to just be outside, light a fire and toast a marshmallow.

Warrior's Path is a great State Park. The grounds are mostly maintained and well kept. There's plenty to do within the park itself. If I had to list any negatives it would be that there's no wifi or cable and no sewer hookup. However cellular signal is available for all carriers.

Didn't have the issues others had here. Our site was secluded, very clean and quiet. In fact, all facilities were clean and well maintaned. Lots of trails to hike, nice camp store, friendly employees. And, everyone was social distancing. This will definitely be on our "do it again" list!

Sites were right on top of one another and extremely crowded—felt like a tailgating party in a parking lot. We ended up leaving when we found someone’s car parked in our spot, and a group of 30-40 people congregated at the site next to us. Kids were running all over the playground, no one observing social distancing. Looked like a nice park, but not recommended for anyone looking for a quiet camping experience in nature.

I live only a few miles from the Park and wanted to take advantage of the campground to do a "test run" with our new camper to figure out the set-up and try out all of its features. We lucked into the only spot available for one night on short notice and it was a great camp site. I have spent a lot of time at the Park golfing, mountain biking, swimming, running, kayaking and picnicking but have never been into the campground area.

The bath houses were very clean and all the utilities were well maintained that we saw. Our site was on the outer loop (#24) and had plenty of space between ours and the next sites. Other areas did seem more packed in, mainly closer to the boat ramp area. All in all, we had a great evening trying out our new camper. If you're planning a stay at the campground, you won't be disappointed with the many activities this Park has to offer.

Campground is very clean especially the bathrooms. The lake is near the sites and a boundless playground is also nearby. The only issues we had were several of the sites were too small for even our pop up camper, no way an RV can fit. You really need to scout the sites beforehand.

I am much more of a hiker than a biker but during my last stay here while visiting family I took the chance to explore some of the mountain biking trails. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would although some of the trails were a little to difficult for my current ability, I had fun none the less. The park is also dog friendly which I always appreciate.

This amazing campground has spots for tent and rv camping, hiking trails, a beautiful lake for kayaking and fishing, and a Marina where rentals are available! Park also has a Boundless Playground!

This beautiful 970 acre Tennessee State Park is located on the shores of the 900 acre Patrick Henry Reservoir on the Holston River in Sullivan County. Hiking, golf, fishing and more makes this a 5 star camping property.

I visited for one chilly night but plan to return again as soon as possible. A true treasure.
