Tom Sawyer’s is only a few very convenient miles on a smooth, new road from both I-40 and I-55 as well as 10 miles from all the great action in a resurgent Downtown Memphis or 20 miles from Graceland if you’ve never been! Our RV sites are easy access pull-thrus with 30 or 50 amp power, city water, and city sewer. We have over 3 dozen concrete sites and you can choose from the shade of the woods or the edge of the river for your visit. In addition to our lovely motor home riverfront section, our 5th wheel riverfront section is designed so that the large rear picture window looks out over the Mississippi River. You can sit under your awning, which also faces the river, on the concrete pads and throw a rock in the water!

This is the only RV park in Jackson, Tennessee. It is right off I 40 and it runs along side the interstate which will make it rather noisy with all the truck traffic. This is a well established permanent mobile home park. The RV's that are not long term are parked at the front of the park. When you pull into the park you will need to drive through the park and back up the other lane and the sites are all pull thru. There are full hook ups but I would make this a one night stand for me unless you need to live and work in the area. Park needs some clean up and maintenance. The RV's are sitting on top of each other.

It is a trailer park that also has RV spots, it is clean but campers are close together, no campfire spot. Lots of long term campers.

Tom Sawyer RV Park is located right along the Mississippi River. The entrance into the park takes you through a wooded area, which has beautiful scenery. Upon arrival they are doing contactless check in and have your car tag and park map located at the front office.
They have three areas to this campground: two are located on the river and one sits back into the trees with more shade. There is also 2 ponds located on site with fishing allowed. Sites are either concrete or gravel and mostly level. All sites are full hook up with 30/50 amp electric. They also have several bathhouses and laundry facilities, both which were clean.
We stayed in site 29 (concrete). We could see the river from our site, but it was a walk to get river side. Site had ample shade and was far enough apart from other campers. We also had cell service (ATT) and the park provides wifi.

Best thing about campground is how close it is to Graceland. 24/7 security. Staff onsite in office from 9 am to 4 pm. Checkin and checkout time is 11 am. Sites are gravel. Campground can accommodate all sizes of rvs. Dogs welcome. Bathrooms are clean and functional, just need a bit of cosmetic updating (peeling paint, missing tiles). Laundry on site. Area on north side of campground for tents and small rvs with electric and water only. All other sites have full hookups which include sewer. No dump station on site. Must call to make reservations, no online option. Good Sam affiliate.

LegendThis is a decent “RV Parking Lot” near Graceland. This is not in a good area of town, however, there was a guard at the entrance to the campground. Decent shaded spots in the back. Full hookups. This is the better of the two Graceland camping options.

Camping here was very quiet at night. deer frequent the property. There is a pump stattion but the noise is just an electrical hum. At the time I was camping only had one spot for an RV and tiny home for rent. They were building a second tiny home. I have a 29 ft travel trailer, Manuvering to and withtin the property was tight but doable. There are full hook ups but you need to take your trash. Very peacfull stay. Thank you.

We were long term at this campground for 7 months. The staff was outstanding, the park was clean and well-kept, and the monthly rates were reasonable. We loved our stay here! We actually stayed from December 2020-July 2021.

LegendThis is a really nice campground just outside of Memphis, TN. They have a swimming pool, playground, covered party pavilion, laundry and lots of kids activities. They also have cabins for rent. This appears to be more of a long term rental campground, but it is a great place to stay if you are traveling there for the weekend for local events, baseball tournaments at Snowden Grove or a Memphis vacation. The campsites are very close together and most are in the sun with no shade.

They knew they had no power and didn’t give us a heads up before showing up. We paid for FHU which means full hook up. No refund and no options to help us. They just told us to deal with it.

This is the kind of RV park that you come to to go look at the close attractions. Almost all of the sites are buddy sites where your front door is facing your neighbor's. There is no privacy at all and we actually ran into a problem with our "buddy neighbor". The problem was taken care of by the manager of the park but those are things to keep in mind. They are full hookup sites and offer up to 3 months of stay. We gave it only 3 stars because this is not the kind of park we are used to, we are used to more open sites.
The bathrooms are quite a walk if you are further into the park. There are 2 restrooms with a shower in each. One bathroom was really clean and had a nicely tiled shower. The other bathroom was always dirty and wasn't updated like the other one. The bathrooms are actually located in the farmer's market building which isn't in the RV park itself.
Local attractions: The Farmer's Market (it's an easy walk from the park), Graceland (was about 30-40 min from the park), The Miami Zoo (was about 20 min from the park). I am sure there are a lot more but we weren't able to get to them in the time that we stayed.

They have re-done a lot of the RV full hook up sites to be very nice. Plenty of space and privacy. The area is a little hilly which makes it a challenge for a little kids on bikes but the playgrounds are really nice. The Wi-Fi is pretty spotty probably because of the hills. Cell service is barely one bar. So this is truly a disconnect and get away kind of place.
RangerThis is a beautiful campground. A few shady sights. Beautiful overlook of the Mississippi River. Full hook ups available. Nice office staff. Benches by the River to watch the barges fo by. I would absolutely stay here again, but I would ask for a shady sight. Only negative is that the bathroom is single bathroom and shower and shower is clean, but calk is moldy.
ScoutThis RV park served us well for our first night in our Hymer. Clean and surprisingly quiet. Across the street from Graceland, so it's really easy to visit Elvis's home and final resting place. But THE BEST thing about staying here was being picked up in a pink Cadillac and taken to Marlowe's Ribs & Restaurant. Fantastic BBQ in a spectacularly kitschy restaurant. Highly recommend! Couple notes on cost - we paid under $50 (using a military 10% discount) for the water/electric hook-up site. And there is 24/7 security so we felt completely safe. We'll be back to visit the King.
RangerThis is a huge campground and the price for a spot was at least double what we would pay elsewhere (nearly $100). We weren’t able to get a campground at Tom Sawyer and the reviews were all over the place for the rest of the Memphis campgrounds that we decided to go ahead and splurge on this one.
This was our first Jellystone and I was shocked at how many campers the campground accommodated - there are RVs everywhere. Most of the amenities and services are located at the front of the campground and includes a store and propane, playground, dog run, pool, showers and laundry, gold mining station, and sports courts (basketball, Gaga ball, and basketball). Further back in the campground, was another playground and dog run and a really cute little lake.
We were staying off-season so there was no activities and they actually deflated the jumping pad, but my kids still had fun and I could see this campground either being a blast in the summer or being a nightmare because of too many people. While we were there, I saw almost no children and several of the camper sites looked like the guests were staying long-term. For a campground that is marketed towards families, the demographics were a bit strange.
That said, it was super clean, well-organized, the landscaping and sites were maintained, everyone was friendly. We got two loads of wash done and my husband said the showers looked good. There were some restaurants and a Walgreen that looked like they delivered to the campground. WiFi worked and they had cable tv.
We reserved a basic site, but for more money you could get a site with Adirondack patio furniture and there were plenty of cabins as well. We reserved same day online and they have a system for late check-ins.
I’m definitely giving Jellystone another go - but next time during the summer. I’m not sure whether this campground is a good base for exploring Memphis - I think if you had a car it would probably be fine as it’s only 20 minutes or so.

There are several travel trailers and older trailers in this small location. There is a circle drive which makes it easier to get in and out. This is a well established old RV park in a very small area. It is located between Huntersville and Jackson, TN just off Highway 70 and is not that far from I 40. Whispering pines has not been maintained but is in a quiet location for traffic.

GuideTom Sawyer RV park was really cute and the staff was very helpful and communicative regarding check in. The campground is set on the Arkansas side of the Mississippi River. We arrived in time to see the sunset and woke up in time to see the sunrise over the river, both were spectacular. We stayed on site 67 right on the river, it had both water and electric hookups, neither of which we ended up using. There is a ton of space for a dog to run around, but unfortunately lots of people don’t pick up after their pooch, so that put a little damper on play time. The main reason for only 3 stars was the bathrooms, they were pretty run down and I would definitely not want to take a shower in them. Great place for one night passing though. If for the views alone.

Located in flat farm land a few miles from Blytheville There is no pool or playground. RV’er will find flat gravel sites that can handle most if not all rigs. They have sites with 30 and 50 amp service. You will find rates for daily weekly and monthly. Some mature trees for shade and some full sun sites.
GuideIt’s a city RV park, what do we really expect? It’s not camping for sure. Traveling from California with kids who have been at the mercy of cross-country RV parks- this was a reprieve for them, pool, bikes, playgrounds. We’ve paid $100 a night for less. Clean, cute, easy access, not sketchy. Noise, sure, but nothing a fan or AC could drown out. Airplanes every few hours, traffic from a nearby highway. Site 44 happens to be the only one without a tree for shade though, so unless you like hot sun- book another one.

Most people who stay here are coming for Elvis Presley’s Graceland tour. The RV Park is great if you are doing the same. If you’re not, there’s not much to do here and the spots are close together.
You can walk right from the RV park to the museum. There’s a private gate from the campground to leads to the museum so you don’t have to drive anywhere.
The camp ground is clean, they’ll come and pick up your trash and take it to the dumpster and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We needed a packaged delivered for work and it arrived before we did and the office would be closed by the time we pulled in the gate. They left it outside of the office door for us per our request.
I felt completely safe at the camp ground. They a have a 24-hour security guard at the entrance and you must sign-in to enter the property. While my husband was at work in downtown Memphis (Main & 2nd) his truck window was broken out and the person went through the truck. It happened right next to the job site, caught on camera and no one saw it happening. It took 15 minutes total for the break-in to occur. The same thing happened to two other workers from the same crew the week before. The police don’t come out and investigate. Be careful and don’t leave anything valuable in your vehicle outside of the RV park. From what I’ve researched since our window was busted out, this happens all over Memphis and it doesn’t matter if you are in a good neighborhood or not.
