Cove Creek RV Resort

Creek-side camping defines the experience at Cove Creek RV Resort, where sites back up directly to a small rushing stream that flows year-round through the property. The resort operates on both sides of the creek, with RV sites featuring full hookups on one side and tent camping areas positioned across the water. Cabins without electric or water service provide an off-grid option for those seeking a more rustic stay.

The creek becomes a focal point for families, particularly children who spend hours wading and playing in the shallow water. Sites closest to the stream fill quickly during peak season, offering the constant sound of moving water just steps from your door. Staff organizes community events including campground potlucks where they provide the main course, fostering interaction among guests during busy periods.

Art Z. found the creekside sites "very nice" with reliable utilities, while the location provides straightforward access to regional attractions. The resort sits within driving distance of both Townsend and Cades Cove, making it a base for exploring the broader area. For campers seeking additional options in the region, camping spots near Pigeon Forge offer alternatives within the same general area.

Reservations help secure preferred sites, especially those with direct creek access during summer months.

Numerous guests pointed out the stunning creek views and helpful staff as major highlights. Many campers appreciated the location outside Pigeon Forge chaos while remaining close to attractions. The creek provides natural entertainment for kids.

Quiet and convenient

We stayed 3 nights in one of the creekside sites. Very nice. Staff was very friendly. Water, electric, and sewer all worked. Great location outside the chaos of Pigeon Forge. Townsend and Cades Cove were easy drives.

Family friendly

Great experiance, first night they had a whole campground pot luck and provided the meat. Our site was back up against a small rushing stream the grandkids loved playing in and might i add could not get them out of. The fireworks in Wears valley were awsome. The staff was super helpful with anything you might need, including helping us get in our camper when we locked our keys in along with the kids lol. Super close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon forge, and the park. Loved our 10 day stay here.
