Nice stop

Very friendly family run campground. Very clean and well landscaped complete with a pavilion and plenty of grills.

Great State Park

Panther Creek State Park has a great campground for families to spend time at. For a lesser known state park, they have a lot of amenities. Playgrounds, hiking, horseback trails, mountain bike trails, tennis courts, disc golf, baseball field, volleyball, lake access, swimming pool (closed for…

Riverbend

This Campground is like it says on the Little Pigeon River bend. The sites on the river overlooking the river are very nice. They have weekend entertainment and church services on Sunday. The sites are gravel with some being pull through. No frills like a pool and the bathrooms are temporarily…

Quick 1 Night Stay

We needed a place right off the highway to stay on the way from Raleigh to Kentucky and this fit the bill. The sites were tight but had full hook ups. Staff is super friendly and guided us into our pull-through site. We really couldn't sit outside at the picnic table provided as it was right up…

Absolutely Stunning !

Completely free primitive camping. Me and my boyfriend had a difficult time finding the place at first. The coordinates took us to a Bible school. To get to the right place, start on Demory Road take a right onto Jim Lee Road then take the second left to get back into the public land area, follow…

perfect primitive waterfront campsite

What a gem! I was searching for a primitive spot to camp on for two nights with my dog where I could relax by the water and this checked all the boxes. I stayed here 6/4-6/6/2021.

The exact GPS coordinates for my spot were 36.2916742,-84.0133668. I arrived around 5pm on 6/4.

Nice but tight!

We are used to mainly camping in state parks. Because of this the campsites at Clabough seemed a little cramped for our liking. However, we were lucky and got to book a pull through site on the end or a row which gave us far more space than most of the rv sites that were back to back. Amenities…

One of my favorite camping experiences so far

The only downside for me was the campsites were not very private. They are basically in a center median in between the roads. But the trails were really cool with lots to see including an amphitheater inside a big cave! The views from the outlooks are great on multiple sides. And the little camp…

Fun... Enough

Just a very small campground, seems to be family friendly with just enough amenities. There's a playground, sand boxes and paved semi level RV pads. I wouldn't come back but the place is very quiet. If you're into that...

Big Rig Friendly Very Nice

Half of the spots face the river (pull in). All concrete and level, large sites. Great water pressure. Lots to do in the area.

Friendly campground!

This is an Escapees member campground, but we were able to stay two night for a very reasonable price since we aren't members. Sites are close together, but that just makes it more neighborly. Nice laundry room with a lending library (one of my favorite features!) Easy access to the highway.

Try another place

These sites are right on top of each other. We had limited space and literally had people next to us that were so loud. The laundry was closed, a park was closed, jumping pillow was deflated, and activities were canceled. We were very disappointed and wish we would have found another place.
